Blacked out e90 on Hoosier slicks

Hey guys, this is my 07 335. Currently in the process of going full drag car. I have a 28.5x10 slick on 15x10 camaro wheels from 2000. Used 328 calipers and 02 530i rotors to fit the 15" wheel. Took some grinding on the caliper, adding studs to the hub, and a little spacer to clear the bmw hub centric side since the wheel didn't fit over it. Anyone have solid axle setups for the e9x chassis? Any front suspension better than stock for rwd launches? Let me know and post pics! Instagram @nick.bmw

I have no suggestions on any of what you asked. Just came here to say HOLY SH** those are some meaty slicks in the rear!.

If you don't mind sharing, what are your plans for engine? Maybe you should make a build thread like tons of others do.

Now there's something you don't see every day! Props for doing something pretty unique. I can't contribute anything useful either, unfortunately.

I can't help you with the solid rear axle swap but for the front you'll want coilovers that are designed for drag racing. A quick search brought these up: D2 Racing
Drag Series Coilover - (D-BM-31-DR) for BMW 3-Series E90/91/92/93 (RWD) 2006-2014. $1350USD on sale for $1080USD right now. They're designed to control weight transfer during the launch. I doubt they'll handle great on the street but that's not what you're going for. If you're not sure what you need they can design the spring-rate and damping to suit your situation. The above quoted price is for front and rear coilovers. Since you will be replacing the rear axle they may be able to sell you just the front setup. It can't hurt to take a look. Also, I have no personal experience with them nor do I endorse them. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. It's a very interesting project for someone that used to drag race big-block Chryslers back in the day.

There's a local guy that has a 335i e90 with a Ford 8.8 in the rear, basically a whole drag car. Idk much of anything about it but you can see the massive pumpkin from the rear of the car lol.

Looks like it belongs at the strip. Very cool. Looking forward to seeing how you race it.
