Got my car on the dyno today guys! Running chinese 17t turbos on E40 (50% e85 50% 98RON Since im here in australia) Currently running out of fuel on the stock HPFP(hitting 800-700psi rail pressure at low rpm if i do a say 60kmh pull in 3rd but once it hits higher rpm its fine)

Walked in there on my v3 (Base map just with slight timing change and 17-19psi) and made the 365rwkw we will call it. Then i had a map ready my tuner sent me and we ran it back to back, once with the fan off after it was hot (I forgot to turn it on) and it made 385rwkw with 777nm torque so i asked for another run and turned the fan on this time and it made currently 393RWKW and 800NM of Torque @23psi redline thats over 530-550whp and around 590 Ft Pounds of torque. Please keep in mind this is with australian dynos, i dont know if its a myth or a saying but ive seen a few cars that leave australia for drag week get dyno'd over in america and they pick up 10-20% more power, i think its based on the dyno settings?

I have replaced the 17t CHRA with a new one that came with the turbos, old ones were scraping the housings etc so these new ones are perfect now since the old ones did all the "Additional" shaving that was required HAHA. Right now i dont have enough fuel on e40, im looking into spool performance helix overdrive x3 or x4 but after spending almost 14k AUD on the car to get it where it is now and purchasing it for about 10k AUD im strapped for cash. Once the helix overdrive goes in, she will be 430-450rwkw minimum and keep pushing on stock motor (i have a second walbro 460LPH) ready to go in also and maybe we might hit even higher than 470rwkw. Im currently planning to have this car be the fastest e90 335i RHD Msport on Chinese 17t's on a stock motor, im currently on index 9's and Bosch coils also. No LSD either or coilovers. Any companies or friends of friends who want to reach out and give me some good deals or help out is more than welcome. Car currently is becoming something that has gotten out of hand from my project ideas since i bought it December 22nd and everything i have done to it has been since then.

Mods are as follows -
17T Turbos with billets wheels 2" inlets, hi flowed housings to fit supposed td04 wheels. Turbos have been sandblasted and hi temp coated and balanced
Genuine BMW Turbo Install kit from FCP EURO
VTT 2" Aluminium Hi Temp Coated Turbo outlets for RHD
VRSF 2" Silicone Turbo inlets
VRSF 7" race intercooler
VRSF Charge pipe
New Oil Pressure Switch
New Vanos Solenoids
New Camshaft Sensor
3.5 Bar N20 Map Sensor
NGK 2 Step Colder Plugs gapped
VRSF 3" Catless Downpipes
Genuine Walbro 460LPH F90000274 Fuel Pump
Billet PCV Valve and Billet PCV Cover
Billet Water Hose Fitting
No Blow off valve or diverter valves since im in australia we love the sutututu or the dose as we call it
K&N Dual Cone Intakes
Upgrades complete tensioner kit and new belt
Brand new boost solenoids
4x new O2 Sensors
Oil pan gasket kit and bolts
New water coolant hoses.
Valve cover gasket kit and bolts
OFHG kit and bolts
Thermostat gasket kit and bolts
BMS Baffled Catch Can
Brand new engine mounts
Transmission fluid and filter and pan service
Brand new silicone boost lines
xHP Stage 3 Flash with a few custom options dialed in
Tuned by Tim Murray here in Australia

Thanks for looking! Any comments and tips greatly appreciated .

Don't go Helix. Bad for engine, rattles and HPFP can't keep railpressure stable because of it. Go AIC PI now or wait for Reflex to mature.
ahh i see! so i have about 600 give or take 20-30 then at the crank in hp i suppose.

Also really dont go helix hpfp? My tuner was telling me to not go Port intake hmm ok crap, maybe i should just re-evaluate what to do and go from there. Maybe i should just leave it as it is since these cars are so expensive to mod here and if i do end up with 450rwkw (About 600whp aussie) ill be needing axles, LSD, driveshafts possibly etc. I've thought about an M3 rear end conversion but that's still like 5-6k AUD for the parts alone -_-" Anyone had any experience using them Racing Diffs clutch packs you throw in the diff for like a 25-30% lsd. My other instinct is to just grab an additional diff and weld it for roll racing and 1/4 mile runs. Im at a point in this project where im lost and dont know what to do.

Helix can do some real damage to the car. I prefer port injection but its a preference. People are going away from M diff conversions since with xHP you can put any diff in and program the ratio to work. There is Ford 8.8 conversions too. I am at around 600whp and launched many times at the track and have not busted an axel yet. Now I run Michllen PSS4S's so they do give and I think if I put slicks on the axels would break.

Tough to get 500 wheel without at least meth on 91. You'll have to use either a octane booster or meth injection to hit those numbers reliably

Please don't take this the wrong way.. the log dyno app is nowhere near accurate. I'm not saying that your car isn't making those numbers but you probably should actually put it on a dyno.

The 2 apps available have been tested numerous times and found to be quite accurate. I don't have a dyno near me so this is the best I can do and happy with the info garnished. Also comparing my car to others with similar mods, I don't see any reason not to think my car isn't making over 400 whp.

e25 mhd maps make around 410whp and 440-450wtq

from my experience e25 maps are stronger than pump gas maps, and there is no way its making 500 wtq on that map.

but who cares how much its making, if it feels fast to you, that is all that matters

please forgive the elemental question....
i just purchased a 2013 bmw 335is n54 dct e93....i'm entirely new to forced induction mods and immersed myself in the data and will begin modding my beloved ride soon; i've attempted to look at the 35 pages of posts re dyno data to find what my ride has as far as bone stock hp @ the wheels - perhaps someone can assist the unlearned and help me find this or direct me to where i can find this info - thank you.

perhaps someone has dynoed a bone stock 335is n54 to create a baseline prior to their mods.

additionally, i've read that bmw significantly underates the factory rated hp numbers.

here's the mods i am starting with - there may be more but this will be the first volley of mods -

perhaps someone has dynoed a bone stock 335is n54 to create a baseline prior to their mods.

additionally, i've read that bmw significantly underates the factory rated hp numbers.

You should be around 330 HP stock, but all cars are different and being used, its hard to say where you sit.
As far as mods go, JB4 is just a boost controller and not a tune. If you want a tune go MHD or custom.
I would not do the Cowl cabin filters unless you want rain inside your car.

thank you noguru - appreciate the response.

my new-to-me 13 335is n54 e93's life began at bmw honolulu in mid 2013, then it moved to the seattle area (fatefully where i live) and then to san jose, ca; she had 36.5k miles when purchased 3 months ago.

there may be a time when i consider mhd, but will begin life in the forced induction world with a simple boost control via jb+.

your car has crazy performance mods! tell me a bit about your ride; what is hp ratings? any mods you did that you were not happy with? i read your tagline of mods and copied ea into google to get an understanding....you are heavily modded!

the xHP transmission software....i thought the 7 speed dct shifted crazy fast - what does this software do to increase performance?

as op of this topic, i'm totally fine with you adding info to this thread and add pics if you wish - would love to see your ride and engine bay.

indeed, i may reconsider the cowl air filters and stay oem. do you have acquaintances that did the cowl filters and it was problematic?

regards
