Review: E90 High Kick from eBay (emotors2000)

So there's been a lot of hype about the newly available "High-Kick" Performance style spoiler for the E90 sedan.

Unfortunately, many on here including myself felt the price point ($400+) was a little much for this cosmetic addon. Thankfully, eBay vendor emotors2000 has come to the rescue!

For less than $150, emotors2000 offers a pre-painted high-kick spoiler for all e90 sedans.

After receiving the product, I can say that this is a great value. Color match is spot on, and fitment is next to flawless if not perfect!

The "High kick" is definitely a higher kick and angle than the traditional performance spoiler. If this is the look you're going for, look no further!

Did a proper test fit on my car and took several pics at different angles. I can't stress enough how good the fitment and color match is. Emotors2000 also has very prompt responses and shipment, not to mention their great pricing!

Thanks for the review . I been thinking about getting it . I love how it looks from the front of car nice but rear doesnt have a huge kick as e92 but its acceptable. My only concern would be quality of paint.

I messaged them and found out that a Carbon Fiber version will be in the works in the near future. Problem is, they couldnt give me an estimated timeline of that...

I think I'm going to hold out for the CF. Definitely post up your pics of the painted version in the meantime!

I haven't messed with a lip spoiler before but this looks pretty good. I am assuming that fitment is the same for pre-lci and LCI?

Yes fitment is the same. I have a pre-LCI sedan also, but test fitted it on both an LCI and Pre-LCI.

E90 trunk shape is the same across pre lci and lci with the inner taillights being the only thing that changed for the facelift.

Ali, how long did the spoiler take to get to you after you ordered? My first spoiler from them was delivered in 3 days from order and im hoping this is the case for the new one.

It did come surprisingly quick, but maybe a bit longer than 3 days... definitely less than a week!

Definitely! I've bought splitters from them, and others have bought other spoilers from them, and we all say the same thing: color, fitment, and quality is fantastic, not to mention the price!

If you want realistic cf look get the new 5d ones, it legit looks almost the same side by side with real cf. and from 20 inches away there is no way you can tell the difference.

It's true 5D looks very good... But it's much thicker and harder to work with. I wonder if that'll affect how well it holds long term too.

As soon as its installed. Work has been a bit nuts lately so I haven't had a chance to do anything fun for a while.

Fingers crossed for the weekend...

First of all, thanks to the vendor on here who designed and created this thing from scratch for our sedans!!

However, many on here, myself included, felt the price point ($400+) was a little much for this cosmetic addon. Thankfully, our favorite eBay vendor emotors2000 has come to the rescue!

I will not speculate how (coincidentally) emotors2000 released a similar product shortly after it was designed, but since it is available, at a much better price point (<$150 painted), I figured I'd give it a shot.

Full review to come as I have not yet installed it... subscribe to this thread and keep up to date!!

----------------------------
Color Match: Ordered jet black, color match is fantastic as expected from this vendor

Fitment: Test fitted only, fitment looks to be at least a 9.5 if not 10 out of 10

High kick: Definitely a higher kick and angle than the traditional performance spoiler, BUT not quite as high a kick as the E92 high kick version. I think it's great, the e92 high kick would probably look weird on a sedan IMO

Photos of test fitting for reference... Not on my car so don't comment about paint match :P First photo is traditional performance, second and third is high kick
That Portugal flag though! Good on you for repping our nation
