Battery in water compartment

Hi my car recently started playing up I've seen some other post with similar problems but they are few years old. There was some water in my battery compartment old issue and now car will only jump from the front. Really embarrassing I've spent a fair bit recently and don't want to pay an arm abd a leg to get this sorted.

I was going to replace the power distribution pack ontop of the battery with the positive wire incase when I went to clean or get the terminals at the bottom clean the lead snapped. Only problem im having is the pack on top of the battery is black I will attach an image, and the majority im seeing online are red will changing to a red on affect anything. I can get the connectors for 2.50 from bmw if they're too corroded and the pack with the positive wire for 25 of flebay or 40 something from bmw any suggestions.

Just check real OEM for your part number, if I remember these might be interchangable. I bought a new one of eBay for about £15 when one of the fuses went.

Fender liner

Gonna sound stupid but my car didn't have a fender liner which caused a lot of water to sit in there too
