Odd Cruise Issue
Hey Guys!
So this is one of two threads I'm gonna have to start I've been noticing when cruise is set b/t 75-80 that I get a surge or thrust every time I go over a rough spot or a little dip on the highway (just general road imperfections). I started noticing about two months ago, got new tires and alignment done about a month ago and its gotten worse since. Its pretty annoying, and my mpg's have dropped about 3-4 avg so I know its acting up. I tried searching but everyone says to just reset the adaptive transmission but I have a manual so I've concluded it could be one of these possibilities but may be wrong..... 1. New tires/alignment. I have an e92 328xi manual w/sport package. Went from 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 to a 45 profile in front and 40 in rear, so slightly taller tire? But seems unlikely to be the cause 2. Dealer reset throttle or ecu when servicing for alignment? 3. Something with the cruise itself, maybe a vaccuum line? Since the issue happens when hitting road imperfections? Any help would be wonderful, thanks guys!!!!! |
