MHD Wifi OBDII Adapters
Not sure if it has been posted here yet but for anyone using MHD these new wireless OBDII adapters are a must have. Much faster and more reliable than the OBDII cables we've been using all these years!

Have not flashed with the orange yet but I'm using the black on our M4 now and a full DME write that used to take 20+ min now takes 3, amazing!

Any supplier based in Europe? Shipping costs across the pond are more expensive than the adapter itself...

Mostly I'm annoyed that I had to pay to unlock all the same shit I had before. I don't think its fair that MHD forces you to re-purchase all of the same shit that's already unlocked for your VIN. If I wanted to sell my car I'm not sure how I would give the new owner all of the things I spent good money on. Would you say its fair for MHD to get another $200+ off the next owner just to unlock the same things again? I thought about creating a Play account just to keep with my car for the MHD purchases but as soon as I spent a dime on it with my Google account this idea was no longer possible. Just annoying I guess. |

As to how that happened, I'm not positive but I do know the previous owner is a dumb ass! He did some really poor wiring when installing a a Fuel It! Throttle body injection kit and essentially twisted wires together without proper shielding or even soldering. But yeah I would have only had to buy the flasher module but now I own the logger, flasher and stage 2 map packs. And they're still stuck to my Google account |

Well if you're thinking about going tuned again, it's worth the cost and the best platform out. |

Update on this: I personally wouldn't leave it in, I just noticed that even after a couple hours the light on the MHD device is on looking through the window of my car, so it's using some type of energy even though it may be the a minor trickle.

Left the device in over the weekend, 52 hours, car started up normally and no battery drainage code. I do have a 1 year old battery and a mini jumper box just in case.

I'm not saying that it can't be left in, but the fact that the MHD adapter light is "on" at all times is a little concerning. Wish it had the ability to shut itself off when the car went to sleep. |
