30 FF code - Chargepipe popping off

Hey gents
Hopefully someone can help me

I posted this on the 1addicts forum but thought Id post here to

I have a 135i with the n54 motor

Installed my chargepipe (VRSF) with a hks bov over a year ago
Driving home and the 30FF turbo charger, charge-air pressure to low code comes on
Pop the bonnet and I can see the rubber pipe has popped off (to the front end of the car) if that makes sense lol

I managed to put it back on tighten the clamp again

Went for a drive and its popped off in the same section
There was a bit of oil residue on the rubber tubing, could that be the cause or would the clamp being broken?
or the pipe it was connected to is collapsing causing it to pop off (which is plastic)

Any help would be great

Cheers

That plastic is pretty strong.
As long as it's clean where your clamping and the hose clamp is strong there should be no worries.

I ended up cleaning it to make sure the pipe was clean then put the clamp back on but haven't hit boost hard as Im scared it may be the clamp, getting a new clamp today and will try the new clamp to see how it goes.

I attached the picture below, hopefully it makes sense, I've circled the section its popped off

That pipe is pretty tough.
That's a decent clamp.

Long as there no oil it should tighten up forever.

Is the silicone snug or loose on the pipe naturally?

I think the silicone is pretty snug to be honest but it is easily removable if that makes sense?

These things pop off all the time just need to clamp it down tight and you shouldn't have a problem
