Check out MHD tune.

https://mhdtuning.com/

All you need is an android phone or tablet and a cable. They mention specific cables and I'd stick with them. Also learn from me and don't use any Samsung. I bought a cheap phone from Best Buy and perfect.

It's a super easy tune just plug it in and flash and around 30min later good to go. And completely reversible.

I think I ended up spending around $250 after everything phone included.

Oh and btw I love it. Couldn't say better things about it.

Well thing about that is kinda difficult no matter what tune you have.

See our cars will log an overboost in some secret special dungeon inaccessible to us mere mortals lol. I'm not sure what psi it logs at so couldn't help you there.

It only shows if they dig hard enough from what I've heard. All my info is from researching the forums so no hard facts by me.

When you uninstall the tune it should remove all of itself from the dme but it cannot remove those codes.

I guess it is a risk/reward kinda thing for you then. I bought mine from CarMax knowing I would be doing all maintenance and repairs diy. So I push the boost. Just had it at 18psi yesterday.

Do some research here on the forums about flashing/ piggybacking tunes and how they affect warranty. Seen quite a few posts. And I'm sure someone will chime in soon enough with better intel.

Good luck

will not know anything about your car,,generic maps are fine if your car is exactly what the map was written for,,get it done properly and have the map tweaked to suit your car..

Rattle will get you new turbos....if you bring shop doughnuts it'll help. 3rd party warranty even better. Can pay difference and get shop to install upgraded turbos. Good luck
