Sadly, the time to part with my E92 335i M-Sport is soon approaching. With a second child due soon, a two door coupe is no longer practical. She currently sits on 85k miles (mileage will rise very slightly). Lower tax band £360 for the year.

Throughout my ownership spanning 17k miles I’ve spent £10K+ on maintenance and upgrades (Excluding Insurance, Tax & Consumables etc) I have a folder of invoices & receipts for work done during my ownership.

Most work was done at independent BMW specialist, Garage786 in Leicester. Some work was done by PMP works in Nuneaton (N54 specialist) and Turbocharger replacement was done in December 2020 by BMW Sytner Leicester under extended warranty. The car has only been run on Shell V-Power/ Esso Synergy (mapped to 99RON).

Maintenance and Modifications

Engine:

• New factory turbos supplied by BMW under extended warranty December 2020
• OEM Pierburg boost solenoids x 2 replaced
• OEM Auxillary belt, tensioner and pulleys replaced
• OEM Oil Filter Housing Gasket & Oil Cooler Ring replaced
• OEM Rocker cover gasket replaced
• OEM Bosch coils replaced
• OEM spark plugs swapped out for NGK 1-step colder sparks gapped to 0.022”
• OEM Rear Crank Seal replaced
• OEM Oil Pan Seal replaced
• RB PCV Valve
• Walnut blasted 2021
• VRSF upgraded charge pipe
• VRSF catless Downpipes
• BMS Dual cone air intakes (OEM airbox available should you wish)

Transmission:

• Factory 6 Speed Manual Gearbox
• Upgraded BMW 550i V8 Clutch Kit < 5K miles ago (good for up to ~500bhp)
• OEM Dual Mass Flywheel replaced

Handling:

• New Bilstein B12 pro-kit suspension < 3k miles ago
• Replaced Front Mounts
• Replaced Rear Bottom Mounts
• Front Upper & Lower TRW BMW M3 Control Arms
• Lemforder Tracking Arms

Exterior:

• OEM Rear parking sensors
• Debadged from factory
• Carbon Fibre Rear Ducktail Spoiler
• LUX white angel eyes
• Carbon Fibre Style M3 Mirror Caps
• Satin Grey 19” 763M Style Wheels
• Dual slat M grilles in gloss black
• M Performance Diffuser Paint Matched
• Black Sapphire Metallic (Bumpers resprayed in 2022)

Wheels and Tyres:

• CM Wheels 763M Style Alloys
• Falken FK510 tyres on front
• Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres on rear
• Four-wheel hunter alignment done

Interior:

• M sport black heated leather seats with electric adjustment, lumbar support with split rear folding and memory
• Aluminium trim panels front and rear
• Original BMW glovebox torch
• USB & AUX ports
• 12 Disc CD Changer & DAB
• BMW CCC I-Drive & Navigation
• Aftermarket BT AUX device

Tuning:

• Currently running a MHD stage 2 map approx ~380HP. All that’s needed for a solid 420HP+ is a good quality intercooler (CSF, Wagner, VRSF)

Other:

• AGM battery replaced 2021

Just had a full major service & MOT done (December 2022) - Oil Change, Brake pads, Brake fluid, Pollen filter, fresh set of 1-step colder plugs. Also had the xenon full beam bulbs replaced for the headlights.

Car is warmed up and cooled down for each journey and not revved/pushed when cold. The engine sounds great on start up and once warm it comes alive. The pull is addictive with that raspy straight-six tone once you’re above 3.5krpm. The Bilstein suspension and M3 control arms make a world of a difference, it is flatter during windy turns and provides a better connected ride over standard suspension which is quite skittish. The mods are quite easily reversible if it’s not what you want but I think they are the most bang for buck in terms of performance without going the whole way to meth, LSD and hybrids etc. All done through garage786 with warranty on parts. Interior-wise I haven’t messed around with but it’s a blank canvas if apple car-play or android auto etc is your thing.

Definitely a car that can do both the daily trips and the occasional spirited hoon.

Car is being listed on here first for interest as I’d prefer it go to a fellow member, but it will soon be listed on AT, PH, Gumtree & Ebay in the coming weeks.
