All depends on the level of comfort you want, but based on what I've seen recently where I recorded front/rear wheels over bumps you'll want to be close to 2x spring rate on rear to the front to keep the fitment even.
8k/16k would let you get pretty tight, but it's always a bit trial and error. |

If you're going for the slammed/stance look, you just have to throw ride comfort out the window. You can't have both.

I have whatever the normal spring rates are on mine. Works fine.

High spring rates will never be comfortable, but correctly matched and setup it shouldn't be crashy. |

Photos in this thread, not the best fitment photos though.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1377454 Fronts pretty good, ride is really nice, more comfortable than M Sport was when the dampers were set to full soft, on 1/3rd stiff now. I've been considering changing to stiffer spring/dampers, I'd probably go for 8/14k, maybe 16k. I filmed my arch gaps on bumpy roads and the rear moves a lot more than the front. Worst bit about the ride now is stretched tyres and stiff sidewalls, made a big difference from my previous setup. |

That's because 7k/10k is a completely imbalanced spring setup. You have a front wheel rate of roughly 366lb/in and a rear wheel rate of less than half that at 177lb/in. That's going to provide for a pretty poor handling and bouncy ride.

You're right though it doesn't handle amazingly on bumps midncorner but that doesn't bother me, it's a 160hp diesel ha. |

Just got a set of these installed, and the car feels tighter and more taut than on my old koni yellow setup. I have to agree on the bumps though, they’ll definitely rattle the car and are noticeable but car drives very smoothly on open highway.

What is your current dampening adjustment for front and rear? Any recommendations on settings?

8-10 clicks from soft in the rear Decent place to start with and adjust to your liking from there. Hope that helps

For the guys that went with the Swift springs, what rates did you end up going with? The stock springs the Coilovers can with are 8k/12k and the tide is bouncy and hard at high speeds. I'm trying to find an option that will dampen better for daily driving
