I went to the junkyard to pull a 330xi 6 speed manual transmision (for my 328xi ) Unbolted the whole thing and when I was going to pry it out I realized the casing was damaged

On the upside I got a basically new transfer case actuator and a 3 stage manifold

Finally fixed my cold start issue. Outlet side IC pipe was loose enough to leak oil from blow by. Also replaced my VCG after I saw that it was smoking in the rear of the engine bay

Got a nice piece of metal in one of my rear tires. Thankfully I had a spare and a jack with me.

That's what I was going for 🤙🏼

It's much more drastic in person, in fact the camera even had a hard time with the details on my old ones so I brightened it up a bit

I'm probably gonna take the headlight out for better access and use some type of liquid wire insulation because I can't fit my fingers there to wrap them

finally got the airbag recall done today. it also got a crappy dealership wash, but it's still better than covered in ash from the bay area fires

In the last week - new shocks/struts and mounts all around (Bilstein B4), new front control arms, swapped 3.23 to 3.73 rear diff. This weekend - replacing the failed small DISA valve so it all runs properly. 156k miles, car feels great!

so I had a torn boot and yesterday was a fail when I discovered it's pretty much impossile to get the halfshaft into the hub without an axle puller.

today was win.
make an axle puller with a spare nut and a carriage bolt.

no more noises from the dry cv joint.

installed my lux v7's today too.

Did a 5 stage cleaning process on my seats! The results are incredible.
I’ve had these seats for a while and finally cleaned them for the installed.
Before and after pictures. Still have 2 more steps before they’re done.

That is bad news for me I guess lol since I have a screwed passenger side axle. Buddy of mine did his and had issues getting the oem axle into the hub but the aftermarket one went in without hesitation. Gonna give a try to an Autozone one

Dumb question: if I removed the coolant hose from the reservoir to make my life easier when doing my VCG do I need to bleed the coolant system? I just filled up with new coolant after I drained what was in the hose after the VCG was done.
