30ff code 🙄 only have issue from 2k rpm to 3k rpm.??
So I only have an issue from 2k rpm to 3k rpm it sounds like the car has a boost leak and builds Mabe 1-3 psi then as soon as Im past 3k rpm the car absolutely rips like there’s nothing wrong it seems like the first turbo isn’t working at all and I’ve done everything possible to fix this that I can think of you can physically hear it sounds like a bad leak WHOP- WHOP-WHOP from 2k to 3k then it’s fine.. I’ve replaced now 2 new oem boost solenoids, brand new burger charge pipe and tial BOV, smoke test passed with flying colors Multiple physical inspections of fmic, all hard piping, vacuume lines etc.
It’s not a tune issue everything there functions as it should. I’m JB4 with MHD back end flash with catless downpipes FBO and oem turbos. Had 30ff code and have been chasing it down for about 2 weeks now hoping it was something dumb but starting to loose faith with that. but it’s odd because after 3k rpm the car in map 5 autotune has no trouble what so ever hitting 18-19 psi I’ll post a log I did today any help would be really appreciated. Thanks. |

Can you post a log on datazap? how many miles on the turbos? Likely your wastegate actuator arms are getting stuck.

Car just hit 105k and I’m very on top of all basic maintenance. Of course it has noisy waist gate but this seems to have happened over a week spand were I thought I was slightly hearing something and then it slowly got worse.

In MHD, click graph a log and then export it to datazap (you'll need an account). The wastegates are somewhat serviceable on their own but often it's more a more efficient use of funds to just replace the whole snails. If you just started rattling badly and then this, it very much points to a wastegate arm issue. |

Yeaa they’ve been noisy sense I bought the car a few months back. But at the same time guys last years with waistgates that are noisey and never have an issue idk. And ok I’ll make a log and send it to data zap I’ll let ya know when I do thanks man.
