Here are mine.

Just a few things that I thought about this event.

-the instructor in the classroom: I swear I saw him at the X5 event. He probably jump boat to Audi?
-Audi is definitely bias and lied about the cars (rivals). They claim they have different set up (ie. sport packages and regular packages) on all cars for us to feel the difference; but all I saw was all the A4 were fully equipped versus stripped on the E90s, W204s and the IS. They might think we are silly enough to get tricked by them?
-Overall, I think the A4 drives pretty nice and steering is very sensitive. No doubt the handling is definitely is better in the rain due to quattro. I had a few "spirit" runs with LANDSHARK (AW M3) on the way and my car was drifting/skidding in the twisties

Oh on the way, we managed to push up to 150+ with a biker (not a sport bike, some american bike with fat rear tires). We both burn him badly..... (this is closed course btw)

that was the same guy at the X5 event. Frank recognized him too and ask him the same thing. He's a contractor that 'follows the money'. He did throw a lot of BS at us, but that was to be expected.

when did you guys get there? we saw you guys leaving and thought you were in the same 1:30p spot

I didn't see you Jonathan...we were there until 5.

Its funny you mentioned the instructor guy, we were making fun of Frank because he kept on about him and how he remembered him 100% from the X5 event. We thought he might've had a crush on him

Anyways, was it just me or was the presentation session the most boring one ever at a manufacturer's ride and drive event. I was practically comatose as he kept on going with all that Drive Select drivel

That guy's name is Morgan...we went up to him and said "hey, you were at the BMW Fedex Field thing with the X5 comparison last year....?!? What gives?"

He mentioned that he co-owns a "pro driver / instructor" business where they lease out qualified drivers and such to manufacturers for such events, for real-world testing, and for programs like police training and such...he's a pretty nice guy and he also attested to the fact that he has been given a lot of stuff to say and that he "may" not agree with it all, but keeping the company line from week-to-week keeps him in business.

Many of the "pro" drivers from the event have also been spot-drivers for the BMW Performance center. I was wearing my BMW Performance Driving School hat and a driver came up to ask me how I liked BMW's programs...after I gushed over my experiences there, he too professed his love for the Roundel and said he wished he was able to work for BMW full-time....

Anyways...most of those guys care about the paycheck, and it'd be very expensive for Audi to shuttle around guys and gals to run the program nationally, so they contract the drivers, the registrars and all from regional outfits and just train them to do the job the way they want it done...

If you go to enough of the events (Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc..) I am betting you'll see a lot of familiar faces eventually...

I remembered him mainly for the loads of BS he said at the X5 event.
He had the same routine at this one. lol.

No doubt he seems like a nice, cool guy but that presentation was sooooo boring...

yep, i was nodding off every 10 words that came out of his mouth.

It was really getting blatantly bad when he kept saying 'I've never seen a car do this before...' or 'Audi was the first to do...'

Guys, it was great to see you again. I was a bit disappointed with my driving skills this time, but all in all this was a really fun DE and I hope Audi does it again next year. I like that it was 1.5 hours away, too -- driving there through the country was half the fun.
