Was looking into this and realized BPC no longer offers this tune. Did someone find an alternative? Seems like there's no value to doing it if you can't get the tune any longer

The N52 tune doesn't appear on their website at all right now, which I imagine is just some sort of oversight. They provide the best N52 tune available as far as I know.
Bob@BPC John@BPC Any thoughts here, gentlemen?

They don’t even list any tunes for e9x other than for diesel and n54. It seems like they stripped down everything from their site.
However, I’m sure they would sell you the tune if you call them. |

That sucks. Just got a 3SI tune from them about 4 weeks ago. I was planning my headers in the next few weeks, then my MILVS.
I wonder if they will keep any type of custom dyno tuning going on as I'm only about 4 hours from them. I plan to email them and see if I can at least buy my header and MILVS tune upgrade before they stop altogether. As long as I can get the files for later, I would be happy.

Do you guys know if I was able to buy the headers and MILVS upgrade tune, would it be safe to run that one on the car without the MILVS until I get time to do them?
I plan to put my headers in next week after my daughter's wedding when I will finally get some free time, but it may be a few months before I could get to installing the MILVS. I just emailed them to see if I could buy my upgraded tune so I'm not sitting here with $1K in parts that may now be useless as I have no other options in my area. I'm hoping they reply on Monday and let me buy the upgrade before stopping all together if they are getting out of tuning.

OR Someone (EPA, customer, etc) got them in trouble (caused them a headache) because of tune. OR something else... I got few other theories, but they seem less likely than those above Still kind of mind-blowing that they would get out of the business of selling tunes as they were already developed and cost for selling them was low. They became well known just because of their tunes. |

I wish I had any knowledge (or knew anyone) that could help you.
I've been running Hass' tunes for over a year now with great success. Right now I'm set up for: - 3IM - Headers - MILVS - Euro IAT/MAF delete - 7500 rpm |

I know most of you like BPC and speak highly of their products. But as another option for those who don’t know Active Autowerke is a close in comparison. They don’t have a MILVs tune (as far as I know). But I have been running their N52 tune for awhile with no issues.
My mods are: -3SIM -Euro intake -Full AA exhaust with Catless ceramic coated headers |

I wonder if it just means BPC will no longer do remote tuning. They have a dyno I can’t imaging a place with a dyno not offering tuning services for their “in house” clients.
Don’t see much point in having a dyno if you don’t offer tuning.

One of the forum guys claimed AA did a tune for MILVS and had great results. I am too lazy to dig out the post. Not sure why they are not selling it thou. Probably it is not polished enough to be OTS.

If BPC have ceased to tune it will be interesting what they do for existing customers. I paid for a tune, plus N55 MAP sensor and BPC injectors over a year ago and results with remote tuning are very slow. I imagine that there could be another 12m work at least. Without BPC tune the $2k to $3k I spent with them is pretty much useless. I have emailed Bob to find out whether BPC moving out of tuning is just forum speculation or fact.
I was also hoping to get MILVs tune in the future. If this is fact it could be a big blow to the N52 community. Most other engines have plenty of other options out there but not so much with the N52. |

All... before going all nuts about this... Just hang in there... There is more to this story... You will most likely still be able to buy tunes... They will probably be named something else than BPC. Just give it some time.

I see that Bobs new shop (Stage FP http://stagefp.com/product/sfp-n51-n52-tune/ ) releases a tune for our cars, anyone try it out yet?
