Ha ha. Yeah bought a nice Mk7 GTI to replace the old Fabia VRS I had. Bit of an upgrade on the VRS and been a bit nutty as always.
Bought completely stock in August but had some nice options ticked. Was one of the cleanest I’d seen too and looked stunning in white with the pano roof. The plan was to keep it stock as it’s my daily but once a modder, always a modder. A car came up for sale in early September that had some superb mods on it and I asked if the seller would be interested in selling the exhaust only. He didn’t want to as wanted the car to go as a whole. So I crazily bought the car instead and then spent 3 weeks swapping everything over  This is how she started out: ![]() And a nice comparison with the newly acquired modded one: ![]() And how she is now: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The list of mods is substantial and all are genuine high end items so made sense to buy the car and swap the mods.

Love it dude, and the mods are awesome. Always had a soft spot for these in all guises i.e. GTD, GTI, R, etc.

Yeah I absolutely love it. I started on the Dub scene so it's actually nice to buy another Golf after so long. As always I had absolutely no intention of modding it as it's my daily BUT one thing leads to another ![]() Grey one has been sold on after the shortest ownership of just 4 weeks ![]() On Saturday had it mapped too which again wasn't really planning at the mo. So should be running around 315hp now.

Certainly a labour of love. Still love starting her up and going for a spin. Unfortunately haven’t moved her out the garage for over 9 weeks now. So decided to SORN her till we can get back out properly.

So I can’t believe it’s been so long since having to do anything to the beast. Although I guess that’s because I drive it so little. With lockdown and having the GTI to run around in I’ve covered like 1k miles between the MOTs lol.
But I did have a slight concern with the Alcon fronts. Went to change the pads and do the fluid to find the front bells had cracked at the mounting points to the discs. So discs off and dropped off to David to build up with new bells made for me. ![]()

So finally all built up and skimmed the discs too for me:
Really nice touch (although it should have said 335i lol): Still love the Rays and Alcon combo:

I genuinely haven’t done much to the little beastie for sometime but wanted to do this mod for ages so finally decided to bite the bullet. Enlisted the skills of John@BespokeLeathering to work his magic on my rear seats.
It’s taken some time to get the right colour alcantara and thread etc. Plus a lot of time drawing it out to match my fronts as best he can. Hopefully get some more progress pics soon.

Intrested to see about the alcons doing that on the bells, My mates Evo's alcons did exactly the same thing! Scary and over all poor tbh! My AP racing bells have been fine for about 8 years now, his alcons were only 2 years old!

Yeah agreed. I was surprised as I’ve run Brembo’s, AP’s, StopTechs to name a few and never had this before. But the better/newer design provided by BG should be all good now.

So finally they’re finished.
I know it’s been a while to get this updated but popped over to see them and John sent over some proper pics. The cars been SORN’d for this month so go to wait till Jan to take the car over to get them fitted. He even swapped over the centre pad from the genuine M3 centre to keep that bulge and fit the non-M folding armrest with cup holder.
