Is there a DIY for changing out the headlight bulbs?

Does anyone know if there is a DYI for changing out the headlight bulbs on a E92?

The manual has a section that explains how to remove headlight bulbs with illustrations.

The pictures in the manual suck. The clip that holds the bulb in fell out when I changed out a bulb yesterday, and I fought with it for an hour because I re-installed it backwards, thinking it was supposed to contact the back of the plug instead of the bulb. Once I got it flipped around it was easy.
I tried looking in the manual for a diagram, and the picture showed only arrows indicating how to dis-connect the clip.
