Feeler: 2007 E91 328i MT w/sport pkg (1 of 429 Unicorns)
I am still in the process of getting my E91 up to top shape. Not looking to sell quite yet, but I wanted to get some feel for how valuable the wagon actually is. I am undecided as to whether to sell it or keep it once I get it going, but my desire to heavily modify a car is telling me to get something less rare that I wouldn't feel bad tearing into. At a glance, it is one of only 429 rear wheel drive manual E91s in the entire US. The car is in Sparkling Graphite Metallic and other than the things I will go on to mention looks wonderful. I purchased the car from an insurance auction because the car had some rear damage that has since been fixed. There is still a scrape on the rear bumper and if you really want to nitpick the rear quarter has some very minor scratches that if (when) I get the rear bumper painted, I would address the scratches too. Overall the outside of the car is very clean but does show some minor signs of wear and tear with 2 small parking lot dings. The car has an impressive 205k miles on the odometer, but the interior is in very good condition. The leather LCB8 Terra Dakota seats are in great condition, but there are signs of wear on the steering wheel, start button, and lower center console. The car does have iDrive and the sport package which are very desireable trims for the car. I just wanted to get a feeler for how much the car would be worth. I have been looking at prices of these E91s and I have seen other manual wagons, not RWD and lacking iDrive or sport package, go for as much as $10k. Granted they are clean title, I think that mine could potentially go for a similar amount. Of course I am going to make sure that mechanically the car is sound before selling and it will be cleaned up before then. Also, I don't remember where I read it but I remember reading a magazine article about a guy who recently searched the entire US looking for one of these 429 RWD MT E91s and could not find one at any price and opted to get an E46 ZHP instead. Thanks for your time and help, who knows maybe once its all ready someone here will buy it! 1) I would love to see some pictures
2) very interested in purchasing when you decide to let it go, if you would like to now open to that as well

Here are some pics from the auction a few months ago. It has since had the rear end damage fixed and is mostly put back together. I'll definitely update this post if/when I decide to sell the car. Not looking to sell it quite yet, I want to get it all together and drive it around for a little bit at least, but I will let you know.

I just paid $10k for my 07 RWD 6MT with half your miles and a clean title and history, so I don't think the Msport adds that much value, especially since (to me) the biggest value is the suspension that'll be completely shot at those miles. Keep an eye on the BaT auction right now of a 2010 Msport clone. It also has around half your miles and is post LCI, but it also has an accident history and might be a good bit of info compared to other '10s. It was previously on the dealer's site for $16k though, so to guess yours is half that given the year and miles might be a decent start.

I think $10k is a bit ambitious. Theres a salvaged manual 09 LCI E91 w/ sport package thats been sitting at $9k. Granted its AWD, but its newer with half the miles and doesn't have iDrive (which most people prefer it w/o)
