2007 BMW E91 328i RWD - Automatic - 129k miles - NJ
I can't believe it's almost been 5 years since I bought this car, but it's time for it to move on to it's next owner. I've taken the build about as far as I care to, and would like to start saving for my next car. I work from home and this is my second BMW, so it really doesn't get driven enough. Overall, it's been the most reliable car I've owned, and if I didn't have to make the choice between this and my 535i, I'd be keeping it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here, or DM me for my phone number and we can text/talk directly. - 2007 BMW 328i RWD Touring - VIN: WBAVS13547FX15252 - Automatic Transmission - 128,XXX miles (will increase as I still drive it) - Originally Titan Silver with Grey Interior - No accidents I'm aware of. I made a claim to my insurance when I cracked my front bumper a couple years ago, but not sure if that shows up on Carfax. I have a pretty extensive build thread I abandoned a while back that shows my history with it: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1778355 Modifications - Wrapped Avery Gloss Light Blue and ceramic coated - Gloss black roof and window trim wrap - Saddle Brown/Black Interior swap (seats, door panels, center console/armrest, lower trim panels, painted lower dashboard, black carpet and floor mats) - Piano black interior trim - Aftermarket Msport front bumper (painted) - OE Msport rear bumper with LCI diffuser (painted) - OE Msport side skirts (painted) - Perforated Msport steering wheel with M-stitching and paddles (paddles not connected) - Alcantara shift and e-brake boots with M-stitching - OE roof rack - OE retractable cargo cover (black) - Maxton Design rear spoiler (gloss black) - Maxton Design front lip splitter (gloss black) - OE Euro halogen headlights with clear reflector and Acme H1 projector retrofit with Profile Pivot switchback white/amber halos - OE black line tail lights - M3-style mirror caps - BC BR Coilovers - Winter wheels: 18” staggered aftermarket style 162 wheels painted satin black with Hankook Noble S1 all-season tires - Summer wheels: 19x10.5R and 19x9.5F MRR GF6 wheels in gloss black with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires - TRW M3 front control arms - Backup camera with screen in center console - Motorsport Hardware stud conversion (78mm) - 335i front brake conversion with painted yellow calipers and custom “BMW Performance” aluminum plates - Muffler delete with Vibrant 12” resonator and dual stainless - 35% window tint, 5% sunroof tint - Rear wiper delete Maintenance I haven't had to do a lot of maintenance since I purchased this car in late 2018, just oil changes and brakes and a few random fixes. It's a very reliable running car that I can just get in and drive. - It's my second car so it's been driven sparingly, less than 5k miles per year. - Full-synthetic oil changes twice per year (no more than 2-3k miles) - 10/14/18 : Replaced oil filter housing gasket, new serpentine belt & cleaned VANOS solenoids - 10/21/18: Replaced suspension with BC BR coilovers - 11/10/2018: Replaced front control arms with M3 versions + alignment - 10/26/19: new front brakes - 9/11/20: new Bosch starter - 11/6/20: new rear brakes - 8/6/22: 335i front brake conversion and brake fluid flush - 3/18/23: New CAS module (fixed red steering lock) - Brand new parts on hand: tie rods and non-M3 front control arms. Negatives - Panoramic roof does not work. I replaced the motor and module which got it moving, but something is wrong with the tracks. The sliding panoramic panels are also missing. - The headliner needs to be recovered. I recovered it myself but the material is pulling away from some areas. - It was built in 2006 so it has the early N52 that gets air trapped in the valves causing tapping if not driven frequently. It does not affect drivability or performance and goes away completely once the car is warmed up. - Front bumper will need to be repainted if unwrapped. The vertical inner headlight area peeled up when I was wrapping it.
