BMW headlight & tire upgrade?
Hi everyone,
I bought a 2011 323i for my first car. I have 225/45 R17 all around. I was thinking of getting wider rear tires, 245/45 17 or 235/45/17. Any suggestions? Also how would I know if the current rims I have will fit 235 or 245 tires? I'm also thinking of buying the V3's from lux. I have stock halogens... https://www.luxangeleyes.com/product...lci-halogen-v3 Also how do i put rings on my headlights without upgrading to xenons? Do i have to buy the rings separately or will the product above put rings on my headlights? Thank you. Last edited by P416; 05-10-2017 at 06:10 PM.. Reason: adding more info |

It is really hard to recommend something that u haven't seen in person specially LED bulbs . Ive heard Lux are the best but expensive . For the money that I paid , I think Genssi bulbs are 'ok' . At night the are bright as all LED bulbs are but CCFL lights are way better for sure . During the day "they are usable " , not really bright but you still can see them.

When i bought my car , I was in the same boat as you , looking for better angel eye, low and high beam bulbs , what a mistake. I ended expending way more that I wanted. Recommendation : I know you can find aftermarket headlamps for around $300/$400CAD with integrated LED/CCFL angel eyes rings ( They are really bright) , with projectors for HIDs and you will be way more happier . Sell or keep you stock headlamps and close that page, don't waste time and money , you will never be happy if really want to have GOOD headlights .

Where did you get your headlights from? I found a few online but I'm not sure if I want to risk getting error codes or flickering.

I haven't bought aftermarket headlamps yet ... I already bought LEDs for the AE and Diamond Vision 5k. The headlamps made by Rolling Gears are well known and good looking , they have few problems though.
