Seeing the E39 540i wheels on a E90 is nice. I have Bilsteins on my factory M-sport springs & trust me, it's not fun to be that low. Granted I have larger & wider wheels. But still, it's not fun when it's just me in the car & still rubbing on small bumps above 40-45 MPH. The highway can get pretty uncomfortable at times. LOL

Love the contrast between the flat/no dish fronts and the deep dish rears.

I also like the contrast. I'm still debating about my widebody.. I would have to go with a new crazy wheel setup or some extreme spacers.

19x8.5 +32 front 19x9.5 +35 rear Running Dinan camber plates and M3 control arms for around -2.6 camber up front to help fitment. I feel that I can squeeze 255’s when it’ll be time for replacement |

Im going to do 245/275 next if I decide to not go along with the widebody. Funny thing is, I have one of those CHR fronts sitting in my room.

No rubbing at all for normal driving in both front or rear, unless you count very slight rubbing on the oil cooler vent at full left lock on the pass side. I’ve adapted and ignored this - not as easy to ignore for my winters as its a lot more audible (I run Style 405M 18x8 +34 Michelin PA5 245/40/18 all around). Seems like the PA5’s have more width than the PS4S on the edges. I’m also eventually going to put in the e30 spring perch and fresh strut mounts soon to raise the front and even out the wheelgap with the rear. Considering I have a good amount of front rake going on thanks to how the B12 Prokit sits, the camber has been really helping avoid any major rubbing! I REALLY miss our wagon. It was an E34, but this E39 brings back the memories!
Maybe just maybe BMW will release a 5er wagon into the wild for me! |

With an E39 M5 ( I use to have a Sterling Grey 2003) ,it's almost impossible to not enjoy life. Except with how thirsty the V8 is & how often you have to refuel...

Love wagons, and I've been drooling over E34s lately.

Reminded me to ask, is your blue touring near San Diego ish? Saw one on freeway last week there and thought of you, couldn’t ever catch up enough to take a pic! Also saw e39it, e46 it f31, etc.

No, it's up in Redlands which is up off of I-10. Spends most of the time on city streets, but getting some mileage in next week when Middle Child heads back up to Bay Area!

Now this is a proper daily
Lets see the rear! You're the only other person I've seen on here with a paint matched 'is' diffuser
