Combox Bn2000 Hardware installation / correct cables for my car's setup

I have a 2009 E90 sedan xdrive. My car came with CIC idrive, bluetooth, BMW assist and the usb port in the center console and glovebox. I have the Hifi radio. I did retrofit the satellite radio module and it is correctly coded in the VO and works properly.

From what I've read I think I don't need the telematics as BMW is stopping supporting it. I'm not interested in BMW assist even if I could use it.

For cabling I'm looking here: http://www.bimmerretrofit.com/store/...&product_id=73

So being that I don't intend and probably won't be able to use BMW assist then can I just purchase the cable that works for either TCU or MULF but not both?

Can I just use the existing cables in the car for BT antenna, microphone and 6FL or do any of those need to be replaced with updated versions?

I believe I remove the both the TCU and MULF modules but am not sure. Can I just leave one of them in and terminate the MOST bus there or do I have to remove both and therefore need the MOST bus terminator?

Aside from the BN2000 combox and correct cables am I missing anything hardware wise?

I know the coding is another animal.

Below is the INPA list of my ECU's and their version. From what I've read I believe in INPA the tel/mulf refers to CIC. I'm not sure why there are entries for CCC as I believe 09 cars have CIC.

Thanks!

you can use cables from TCU and MULF, the only thing which you will need is 26-pin connector
also you can remove unused MOST circuits from MOST loop and MOST concentrator under rear seat

It is only 10 or so wires to move the pins on. Just get a plug and move the pins. Make sure all the wires will reach. Some models need the adapters to reach the new location. Follow the attached instructions backwards. Use a flashlight to determine which fiber you want to remove from the loop.

Thanks for the reply. So when you mention the 26 pin connector would that be the one available at this link?: http://www.bimmerretrofit.com/store/...&product_id=73

If I don't want BMW assist then do I not need the $45 upgrade to handle TCU and MULF? Or do I still need this?

Also, would I need a MOST bus terminator for my setup?

Thanks for your help. I may be in over my head. I believe when you talk about the pins that would involve moving them on the existing connectors already in the car, right? If so, I'd be willing to buy the pre-made cable to avoid doing that. So would buying the cable here allow me to not have to get involved in moving the pins?: http://www.bimmerretrofit.com/store/...&product_id=73

Or where you actually talking about what I have to move regarding the MOST fiber optic cables?

Theirs a chart Smassey posted above that literally tells you exactly how to repin. All you need is a pick or small nail to pull the pins out.

if you do not need assist you have either buy dual adapter or repin connectors
same with MOST, you can buy most terminator or repin most concentrator
overall if you want to make this upgrade reversible - it is better to buy harness from bimmerretrofit
if you plan to sell older modules there is no sense to buy harness

Totaly depends on what year your car is and if it has pre wiring.
I don't know what they did in Europe but all cars in the US had
pre wiring for the year they were made up to 2009.

You need to take a look in your trunk an see if it has pre wiring .
Since it's a non US car there is no way for us to know if it has it.
Look in the places where a TCU , Mulf or Sat modules would normaly
be installed.
