Honestly, if you can take it to European autobody. These guys are amazing and do their stuff right.. I just got off the phone with Manny from the shop and he updated me on the progress..
I could but I would have to pay for it myself =/
My car is a lease from BMW and I had no say in where to bring it for repairs.
excellence autobody is a "BMW certified" colission center so they told me to take it there.

Yup, im thinking tracking one last time before season ends and then ending my lease early to get an F30

I was actually hoping it would be a total loss so i could get an F30 anyways...

I also talked to a couple of mechanic friends ans asked them about the strutural integrity of the car after the accident since i take it tracking once in a while and they all told me dont take it to track anymore unless i get everything spot welded cause the chassis wont be able to take the stress anymore. anyone know if this is true?
Hood can be fixed, but will never be 100%. Once the hood gets deformed, its hard to get it perfect again, but they will probably be able to fix it well enough for the naked eye not to notice anything.

Yes, the car won't have the same strength as before, whenever an accident involves welding/fixing parts of its structural frame, it will never be like new. My RSX got t-boned by a truck, shop fixed it up for a major amount of $$. Should have been a write off if you ask me. Car was never the same again. They aren't going to spot weld everything either...to time consuming/expensive.

I suggest you keep your car off the track when you get it back. Sell the car in the spring and get the F30?

Sigh...
Well the thing is im onyl allowed 65 000 km at the end of my lease which is in the coming June...my car currently has 64 475 at the time of the accident.
So im probably going to end my lease early and get an F30 assuming price fits my budget.
If price is too much i gues i will just store my car until lease end

i'm so glad i typed that massive post so everyone could ignore it.

1lyfe - glad to hear your parents are okay. that is the bottom line.

I'm honestly surprised they aren't replacing the hood...seems lazy to me.

$24k...wow. working with a lot of used cars, that is a good-sized claim. i definitely wouldn't track it again.

best of luck with everything.
