Hot air only coming out of passenger side
Hi everyone
It's been a while since I've posted here but I'm back in an e92, diesel this time though. So it's a strange problem, when I turn the heaters on, hot air only comes out of the passenger side vents, all drivers side vents blow cold air. Before you ask, yes I've set the temperature correctly and turned everything up to max heat. Heaters were working fine last winter. I don't know if this would make a difference or not, but recently had a coolant leak and had to get the radiator changed. Any suggestions are welcome as it's getting cold out there! Thanks Fez |

I've got this issue on my 320i too, suspecting there's an air mixture flap behind the dash not working correctly
Scan tool live data shows engine temp up around 90 deg C and radiator outlet 50 deg C I'll have a bit more of a play with the scan tool soon as I noticed it has function tests for the flaps etc.. |

Could be that the matrix is blocked with gunk, so only heating in certain sections - mine was fixed by blowing compressed air the wrong way through the pipes to force the gunk out.
Messy job though and requires coolant to be fully drained. |
