When we sat down to sign the papers, on the BMW dealer's bill of sales it shows the interest charged at the end of the 48 months term is different from that stated on the BMW leasing agreement. There are other figures that are contradicting and even the dealer's leasing manager was not able to provide me with answers. She was on the phone with the BMW Financial for half an hour but still could not tell me why and how to come up with the figures. The leasing rate is 2.9%, why is it so hard for them to provide a consistence and accurate interest charge at the end of the 48 months term. The leasing manager promised me to get back to me next week after talking the BMW Financial. So, I did not pick up the car today..... |

That sucks. Hang in there!
I would request some sort of compensation for the gong...maybe a summer spa service for the vehicle?

Well, the sales rep have only agreed to give me the winter matts and touch up paint.....
At this point, I still do not know how much I am paying for the total amount of interest at the end of the term, because, as I have said, the figure is nit consistence. One the BMW Financial agreement, it stated that is it ~$3570 on one but it then stated ~$3890 on another page. Beside they are also charging $599 + another fee at the end of the term if I choose to keep the car by paying the residue. I wish they could have at least told me at the beginning instead of I finding it now on the bill of sales in a small print!! That makes me think if there are any other hidden charges that I do not know and that they are not telling me! |

For a dealership that sell luxury cars, I am very much disappointed I'll see what they have to say next week, I will see if I can get a hold of the manager then and express my disappointment! If they want my business and recommendation in the future, they better come up with something....... |

I've been there. My car was delayed 3 weeks. They told me the morning I was scheduled to pick it up. I took the day off...The car was brought to the dealership without perf parts installed. Went all the way back to Halifax to install the parts and all the way back to Toronto again. When I picked it up, it was riddled with scratches. Im guessing because they already PDI'd the car at the dealership and ripped off all that white protective vinyl. Went through a hell of a time before I even got the car. Then when I got my car, more issues came up similar to you so...just hang in there. Once you get the car, the joy of driving will kick in.

Sounds like the EDMONTON-BMW . Absolutely dishonest with pricing and the Sales Manager tried blaming me when I raised the discrepancy. Needless to say I traveled 3 hours south to Calgary and purchased my vehicle in Calgary. Luxury or not, dishonesty can come in many "luxurious" forms

I'm really impressed at XDrive in this versus my 09 328xi. I'm attributing it the auto vs manual. I found my old car always shifted around at the wrong time and could sometimes initiate a slide or traction control engagement at odd times. This one I pick me gear at stick to it until I'm ready and not shift up or down until I feel I'm ready. I know the paddle shifters can hold the gear too, this is just different to me and absolutely improves the winter driving for me. Just wish I could keep this damn car clean |

no convinced that dinan tune is worth $2k. its not a plug and play chip either its a flash tune over your existing. it will erase the bmw ppk.

Hi folks
Just stumbled upon this thread while surfing some BMW related stuff.
Signed my lease agreement today for a 2011 335i xDrive special edition - apparently one of the last couple of 6 MT versions left unsold in Canada. Mine is Ruby Black/Oyster and is being shipped here from Calgary where it was sitting on a dealers lot. I hope to pick it up on Friday if all goes according to plan. I previously had a 2011 335i xDrive that I special ordered from the factory and took delivery of in April 2010. Unfortunately I was in a serious accident in mid January of this year and my insurance company declared that car a total loss. It was without a doubt the best car I've ever owned, and I was profoundly sad to see it gone, but my sadness has been replaced with optimism that this new ride is going to exceed my already high expectations. Seems the timing worked out OK anyway. Looking forward to sharing my opinions and questions here going forward. Cheers! |

Got my car yesterday ( see my other message earlier)
Both the sales agent and the leasing officer were not able to explain the leasing details to my satisfaction, they were pretty useless!!! When the leasing manager was asked for, it only took us 5 minutes to understand each other in term of the leasing details. One thing I still have is that the leasing manager told me that HST tax is applied to the interest, which I want to find out from revenue Canada if that is the case. |
