2008 85k 335i Manual - RB Turbos and various other mods
For Sale. 2008 BMW 335i M-Sport which is in the cheaper tax bracket than the 2007. Low mileage at 85,000.
I've owned this for the last 8 years and its been a fantastic car while I've owned it. It is now 16 years old so there it the typical minor scratches which would more than likely be resolved with a machine polish. I slowly stopped using this car during lockdown and it barely gets the use it deserves now. Annual mileage can be checked using the MOT checker (If you do check the history, there is an entry for a cracked front windscreen from a few years ago, this was incorrect, it was one of my daughter's hairs on the inside of the windscreen). I've now had to buy myself a 520d F11 kiddie wagon as I can no longer fit the two kids and the dog in this. I wanted to keep the standard feel of the car but have a bit more torque and power which has been achieved with the following mods: AFE cold air intake - Expensive but much preferred to the usual dual cone intake. RB Turbo silicone turbo inlet pipes RB Turbo 15T turbos with upgraded waste gates (no rattle) RB Turbo PCV Valve RB Turbo silicone turbo outlet pipe VRSF Stepped Intercooler VRSF Charge Pipe Twin GFB recirculation valves VRSF 3" Downpipes M3 front suspension arms Rest of the exhaust is standard so doesn't sound OTT 550i clutch so it can handle the extra torque and still feel standard Walbro 450lph Fuel Pump One Step Colder NGK plugs Oil changes carried out regularly (I used to do 2 changes a year) always with Motul oil as recommended by RB Turbo. Slightly less frequent since I used the car less. Typically I'd change oil filter and cabin filter at the same time always with activated carbon one. Many receipts showing this. Interior is cloth/alcantara mix and there is no I drive Always ran on Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. Two brand new tyres on the back and about 6mm left on the front tyres so plenty of life left. Recently had oil filter housing gasket changed and M3 front arms fitted. Has base audio system which was terrible so I've added a JL Audio XD400/4 amp powering MB Quart 3 way speakers. Underseats are powered on their own channels and 5 1/4 mids and tweeters driven by the other 2. Coded to HiFi for flat EQ. Most mechanical work carried out by PMP Cars in Nuneaton. Any questions, send me a PM and I'll give you my phone number and you can get me on WhatsApp. I'll put up some interior pictures once I've given it a vacuum. Over the years I've spent many thousands on this car. I'm not sure what these go for nowadays, especially modified ones. I was looking for £8500. Thanks.
