Help me chose a car! 550i/335i/535i/650i/A4/C300
As the title says, I'm looking to purchase a car in the next week or so and I really need help deciding on what to get!
I've spent the past few weeks going to different dealerships and test driving various cars. I've narrowed my list down the following:
I'm looking for a car that's a lot of fun to drive and looks great. The reason an A4 is on the list is because the one I'm interested in has an amazing interior. |

You have to first decide, whether you need an AWD car or a RWD car works. Then do you want a coupe or a four door? Last, do you want to have a V8, or a turbo V6?< This last one is kinda negligible since it really depends on how much you enjoy driving the car, after that its really just a question of MPG importance. The only car I would immediately cross off is a C300. I've never driven such a bland car in my life-- I spent one week in it when our S was in service. Terrible, I just hate it. Good luck.

Consider the mileage on the cars. Also narrow your options down to 3 and get them inspected if not CPO. A warranty is a must for all these cars as fixing it will be extremely expensive. If i were you, i would definitely keep in mind the insurance premiums, gas, family size, practicality. For me, being a student i would choose the 335i over all of them mainly because its just so much more of a drivers car.
After I drove my dads 2012 x5, i couldn't see myself driving anything else except a bmw. If you were a passenger, then the MB or even Audi would suit you better.

Here, i fixed your selection:
'09 335i - handling and speed '08 550 - power & luxury '08 C350 (yes, not a 300) luxury Just get a PPI done at a reputable Indy shop, you dont need a CPO since it will just increase the price by $3000. I'm on my 4th BMW and none have been CPO, but I did take them for a PPI prior to purchase. A warranty is recommended if you cannot due the repairs yourself. GL.

definitely not the A4. Not only are they overpriced solely on their looks, but the 2.0T and numb steering will get you bored really quickly. If I had to go for one, it would be an Prestige w/S-Line. Premium is still a base model
If you want fun, definitely go with one of your 335 options (preferably the 09 due to updated everything and will still be in warranty. The 550 will be $$$ to maintain.

Just picked up a CPO '07 335i coupe last week. Join the club!
In all seriousness, just highlighting what Krazy said, you need to narrow down what you want. I'd use size then handling as filters, but that's just my opinion. It really depends on what you need in a car.

+1 If you would consider a C300, you might as well add the 328i/xi to your list as both cars are faster and more fun to drive than the C300. |

Is your choice depending on price also? I use to have a 09 lci 335 and dad had an 08 pre lci 335.. The 09 looks much better..the ride on both cars are crap unless you get a 2011+.i sacrificed speed for comfort going from a n54 to a n55..my dad couldn't stand the harsh ride either so he traded in for a ml350..the 08 535 is ok but that's just a heavier version of a 335 plus uglier tail lights..If u get the Audi 2.0t, don't forget to get tints. That way all the ricers that blow by you won't actually laugh in your face.. Same goes for the c300.. My cousin has a tuned 350 and is pumping 230 whp.. A stock 335 would destroy it easily..what I do recommend if u want luxury and speed is a c63.. My sister has it and it's just freaking amazing.. The only c-class worth getting..hope this helps

You are all over the place. You have 2 doors, four doors, etc. listed. You have to narrow it down. You haven't even narrowed it down to a particular manufacturer.

All of those cars look nice except for the nonBimmers, lol. If I ever go Audi, I'll try out S4 or RS4/RS6. If I ever go Merc, maybe the AMG C63 mentioned above. If you really like the 335s, take a look at a 2010/2011 335i/xi coupe/sedan with M-sport package. They look sweet with that rear diffuser. Also they're lots of fun to drive esp if you increase the boost more.

No offense bro, but you cant afford a 650i, so dont go buy an old one thats gonna give you problems down the road.
I would vote a 550i (newest one you can afford with a CPO warranty)since you seem to like luxury over performance. |
