I'm in the process of trying to plan a meet for NCEuro. If that ever gets off the ground, I will post it up here. Would be cool to get the two groups together and meet a bunch of you.

Can anybody recommend a good body shop in the Jacksonville area? I hit an animal this morning which tore up the front fascia. The closest BMW dealer is 60 miles away. That's probably where I'll take it, but if there is someone local that is good, I'll take it there.

Anyone had any work done to their car by Euroclassics in Durham, NC? I'm going to be upgrading to M Aero Kit over the next few days and had another shop in Raleigh I was going to go to but I just found out about these guys who are just down the road from my house and claim to do a lot of BMW body/engine work. Thinking of going with them since they're so close but wanted to see if anyone else has had any experiences with them.

But in regards to your question, I have never heard of Euroclassics. I would probably go to Bimmer Performance Center in North Raleigh...as you can tell by the name, they specialize in bmw |

So I got a tip from a guy here with an E90 about this place called Kenny Hawkins Automotive where he gets his work done and he said they did a great job. I went to see them and they sounded great and gave me a decent quote but this Euroclassics place is literally right around the corner from me so I thought I should at least see if anyone around here has any experiences with them. But you should check out Kenny Hawkins Automotive since they're closer to you in Raleigh: http://www.kennyhawkins.com

Yeah haha. I feel more comfortable staying OEM though there seem to be great aftermarket options available at much better prices. I figured since insurance is covering part of the cost I could just add the difference to get what I wanted.

Ahh well if it's insurance then I would just let them do it. Especially if there are other things that need to be repaired and they have to remove the stock parts anyways. At that point you won't save much at all.

ya they will only pay for the cost of the stock bumper. cracked my front bumper and got an m3 rep and ended up pocketing a few bucks because the rep was cheaper then another oem one.
