tune for the dpf delete by P&L?

So I found this exhaust bundle that includes the dpf delete but I'm not sure if it needs to be tuned once it is all installed.... please help :/

Also, is everything here fine in regards to emissions?

Why wouldn't it require a tune? You're removing several major emissions components that's constantly monitored by the DDE.

I realize this may be to late to help. But, may help if you have not purchased yet or may help others. This is a summary of what I have learned over 15 years of owning diesel vehicles, what I have read on this forum, other diesel forums, and hours of online reading in general.
If you delete the DPF without deleting the SCR (exhaust fluid catalytic converter), then the soot in the exhaust will plug up the SCR and your car will eventually not run. It is OK to delete the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and nothing else, It is alright to delete the SCR and nothing else. You can delete both SCR and EGR and leave the DPF in place. But never delete only the DPF. If you delete only the EGR then your NOx level in the exhaust will go up. this will cause the use of DEF fluid to increase significantly and you might get NOx related error messages if the SCR system is overloaded trying to reduce the NOx.
Any delete of the EGR, DPF, or SCR WILL REQUIRE A DELETE TUNE for whatever you delete. You can get a delete tune without getting a performance tune if you only want increased reliability. A delete tune is around $500. A delete tune that includes EGR and DPF will increase your fuel mileage by about 10%.
If you delete the EGR you should remove or block off the EGR system but it isn't required just highly recommended. If you do not install block plates, you should look at the EGR valve and make sure it is closed and not leaking exhaust back into the intake.
The main incentive for deleting the EGR is that the soot the EGR introduces into the intake is the major component what is known as carbon buildup in the intake manifold and intake runners of the head. This buildup and be so bad in cars that the cars start throwing MAF error codes, have reduced fuel mileage, and poor performance. This can happen as low as 50k. But most happen around 90k. A few cars it never happens to. The carbon build up is made up of carbon soot from the recirculated exhaust and oil from the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system. The mixture is a paste the sticks to the intake and intake runners of the heads. the heat of the engine bakes the goo into a relatively hard buildup that can cost from $200 to $2,000 ($800 is a good typical cost) to have your carbon buildup removed).
Some people that are looking for the most performance from their car install methanol injection systems in their car for added horsepower. One benefit of a methanol injection system is that the solvent properties of methanol can clean any carbon buildup over time. However these people usually have their car deleted if they have methanol injection systems and carbon buildup will not occur if the EGR is deleted. The typical methanol injection system is $600+. My price may be off but is in the ball park.
If you delete the DPF, you must remove the particulate portion of the DPF or it will plug with soot and your car will not run. You must also delete the SCR if you delete the DPF and remove the SCR catalytic converter or it will plug with soot and the car will not run.
Many people that delete the DPF cut open the DPF and remove the filter portion of the DPF and leave the first section of the DPF in place. The first section of the DPF is a Diesel specific catalytic converter that significantly reduces the smell of the exhaust.
If you replace the DFP with a downpipe (aka race pipe) that does not have a catalytic converter, or remove everything from the DPF (catalyst and filter) then your exhaust will have a strong smell. Some people have gone back and added catalytic converters to the downpipe or reinstalled another DPF with the catalytic converter in place and the filter portion removed because of the smell.
If you install a downpipe or remove everything from your DPF and remove your SCR, your exhaust noise will go up noticably and you will hear a turbine whine when you accelerate.
If you leave your DPF catalytic converter in place and remove the SCR, your exhaust noise will increase slightly and you will not notice your turbine whine from your turbocharger unless you are listening for it.
The two large muffler looking things under your trunk are not mufflers. They are large resonators that have straight through pipes. The straight through pipes inside the resonators have holes in them and the surrounding chamber is packed with a fiberous material that resembles fiberglass insulation or rock wool insulation. The resonators are not designed to reduce the exhaust noise. The purpose of a resonator is to change the pitch of the exhaust sound to eliminate the harshness and droning sound of the exhaust sound. Resonators produce almost no back pressure so there will be no noticeable performance increase by removing them. You may think your car is faster because it sounds harsher. A few people like the sound of the car without the resonators. Many people do not like the droning sound that comes with deleting the resonators. You can listen to the differences on you tube first. But, keep in mind you will only hear the pitch difference and won't hear the droning sound on a you tube video.
The only significant advantage to removing the resonators and replacing them with a straight pipe or smaller resonator is that you can end up with enough room to mount a spare tire under your car if you also deleted and removed your SCR system and tanks.
One other thing people delete is the swirl flaps. Your car has two intake runners (ports) in the head. These ports are not connected together. One port creates a swirling of the air into the cylinder. The other port does not. At low RPM, the swirl flaps are closed to create the swirling of the air in the intake for better mixing. As the engine RPM increase the The swirl flaps open to allow better air flow. The design of the swirl flaps in the european 335D was flawed and the screws would come out of the flap, be injested by the engine and destroy the engine. The US version of the 335D has redesigned swirl flaps which are not known to have any issues. However, many people delete the swirl flaps and have a swirl flap delete tune just to be safe out of fear of failure even though swirl flap failure does not appear to be an issue in the US. The swirl flaps are for emission reduction and deleting them does not make a noticeable difference in the way your car runs or the mpg of the car. Both probably are hurt by the deletion of the swirl flaps. But, not measurably.
