Pure600 N54 Turbos
Has anyone used these new Pure600 N54 turbos yet? What’s your experience with them? I was about to order the Stage 2’s but then saw these. I contacted pure and they said the main difference was just the cast housing and sit happiest right at 500-550whp. Sounds perfect for my daily driver, but haven’t seen any reviews yet.
Thanks. |

Following. I'm in the market but not sure what to pull the trigger on. At 150k on stock bois pushing 19-20lbs and they're having to work waaaay harder than they used to.

They will develop surface rust almost immediately. Not a knock at the product, but that is what happens with a raw cast iron material. I am disappointed to see that the inlet snout that is welded on does not match the ID of the compressor cover. It is a pretty large step up. It almost looks like they just used what the had on the shelf.

This is what I was told by a tuner mechanic when I asked him if they had the same internal components as the PS2's as stated by a previous poster contacting Pure customer service. He also stated that the build on the RB GF's are much better:
"They are most certainly not the same internal components as the Pure Stage 2 DD/HF. With that said, Pure Turbo offers them with the same build process and stands by them with the same warranty. I've installed at least 10 sets already and no cars that had issues thus far there for there aren't bad and certainly offer the best bang for the buck." |

Bumping this for any 1+ year user reviews. Any issues encountered with the cast manifold or welding on wg arm? Has the inlet snout been modified at all from what was complained about before?
I'm on ACN 91 out here dd so just looking for good stock+ replacements, I'm happy having a little extra head room on the boost though so I can tune them down and increase the life of the turbos even further that way. I've got new dp's already and new inlets on the way. TIA for all opinions

I ended up going with the RB Two Plus turbos and couldn’t be happier. Slight increase in lag over stock, but spool incredibly quick. No issues after a year and 500whp on 93 doesn’t suck. Couldn’t beat the price either. RB offers good discounts with bundles and for different payment options.

Can anyone comment on the "Billet High Heat Anti-Wear Match Wastegate" or "high flow" oil drains they offer? Are these just the oil lines, and why are they high flow?
