Broken Head bolt behind OFH and under intake manifold

Sigh...so it's a bad day...

Any reason I shouldn't just assume that its just the bolt and replace (assuming I can spin out the bolt shaft)? I saw the Pelican how-to but then it references the internals, but I don't necc get the relationship on why they discuss Fig2.

I don't think that's a VC bolt. I do think it might be one of the OFHG bolts.

It's a head bolt...I dunno why I wrote that.

If anyone that did this could confirm, it was this bolt, correct?

It's not a head bolt, I still say it's an OFH bolt...at least that's what it looks to be from your photos. The one that's hard to get to because of the manifold being in the way.

It's called a (external) head bolt. But yeah had to remove intake manifold and move the usual around to get the angle. About a hours worth of work with two sets of hands.

Oh and to answer my own question that was the right bolt. But it's usually only sold in a "set" of head bolts. That said, the set is $8 or less. 11-12-0-392-547
