Coilover winter prep recommendations

I watched videos but I want to hear from the community and what has actually worked based on your experience. I drive my car in winter, less often but it's still used if I am in need of transportation. And switching over to old shocks, while the best solution I am sure, is quite the task and a PITA.

I just thought of slathering the threads with anti seize and going over it with the collars. Is that enough? I have also been told to then apply some tape over the threads as well. Bilstein say to just rinse the car every few weeks on the shocks but I don't trust like that.

I also have a can of fluid film and film fluid is very good I've been told for anti rust so I would like to make sure I apply the best product, not sure what to do.

Has anyone personally went through a few winters with coil overs here?

I would slather the threads in anti seize yes, they also make like coilover "covers" that are used in winter, I would look them up I know drive cartel makes some and I am sure others as well .

Ok I'll probably slather it in anti seize and get some coilover covers. Is it me or are these coilover covers so expensive for no reason?
