Hello. This is my very first post. So let me say I have had my 2011 e90 328xi with no idrive since December. It just has bmw professional radio. So yesterday when I drove it I noticed the radio connected to my phone via Bluetooth and then disconnected on its own. I went to see if I could listen to my music via the aux cord and it wouldn't let me. Later that evening I went out and the car sat for a while I went to see if it was just a flukes and I plugged my phone in the aux cord. It played one and half songs then stopped working.
Does anyone know what this might be? When I go to the menu selection there's like nothing I can do or even check. Even the phone option won't show up. I've done a lot of research on this and it's everyone that has a idrive that can get help. What's weird is there is no SOS warning logo. The radio still works and all dings work as well. I read the car was meant for a iPhone 4 and 4s and I have a iPhone X. Idk if that's the reason. Idk if it needs a update but I can't even find what version my radio is. Idk if it even needs a update. Can someone please help me before I take the car to bmw and they rip all my money out of my pocket. Lol Also in the center console there is a aux and usb hook up. Idk if that helps with my question. |

Maybe you will have to check .
Sorry this will require Homework on you part. If a fuse blows there is no power to a device if a fuse blows again then the device is probably bad. If the fuse has not blown and the device does not function then the device may be bad. This is basic Logic maybe you should take it in. |
