Currently got this setup on my 330xi with style 95s:
225/35-r19 on a 19x9 265/30-r19 on a 19x10 Do you guys think I'll be ok? I see this setup is not blue but is also not crossed out in the chart. Thanks |

I have the same wheels but decided on 235/35 and 265/30. I checked the tire manufacturers specs for each size and in my tire model in those sizes there was only a 5 rev per mile difference between the 2. In the tires I chose, 225/35 and 265/30 would have a larger deviation which isn't preferred.

I actually got a higher rev/mile difference with the 235/35 and 265/30. Thanks for the response tho. |

tire size help
I read through this entire thread, but still a bit confused. My goal is to avoid rubbing, I had some rubbing on my previous car and it was just annoying. I don't want to spend all this money and have the wheels rub.
I am looking to get ECS Tuning Alzor 19" Style 030 Wheels - Staggered Set Of Four (19x8.5" ET35/19x9.5" ET40 72.6CB 5x120). I want all season tires, so the General G-Max AS-03 or the Continental EXTREMECONTACT DWS are the choices I have. The first post says 225/35-19 and 255/30-19 are the choice for 19" rims. There is no all season option for me in this size (due to the rear tire size). Later post say 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 are run by a lot of people. Other people have run 225/35-19 and 265/3019 with success. I am just not sure which setup to get. I read this too - "Again, I will say it.. 225 tire on an 8.5" rim is possible.. I have done it myself.. However, the performance is pure garbage and it is UNSAFE. I had an instance where the tire collapsed through a turn and the rim edge came into contact with the ground. Why? Tire was not wide enough." The DWS is $772 & General is $680 in the 225/35-19 & 265/30-19 setup. In this setup I would prefer the DWS for $92 more. The DWS is $837 & General is $683 in the 235/35-19 & 265/30-19 setup. In this setup the General is what I would go for ($150 less). Can someone tell me which tire size is best for the rims I'm getting and the tire choices I have? Here are the information for the calculations - DWS - 225/35-19 & 265/30-19 setup: General - 225/35-19 & 265/30-19 setup: DWS - 235/35-19 & 265/30-19 setup: General - 235/35-19 & 265/30-19 setup:

Need some help here. Can I go 245/40-18 and 265/35-18 ? Anyone doing this on xdrive or it's a no go?
Tire heights would be 25.7 and 25.3". Revs per mile 809 and 822. Thank you! Last edited by SLOWER; 11-27-2015 at 05:04 PM.. |

Does this apply to all xDrive models or only the E90 sedan?
I have an E92 xDrive

If I go up, 10cm in width, F 235/40 and R 265/35, table shows same 0.4 That means I can do the more staggered set-up with wider wheels, and I'll be Okay?

F 235/40 and R 265/35 will work. Personally I like the OEM stock staggered size. |

so no answer to my previous post..
What tire size should I run on 19x8.5" ET35/19x9.5" ET40? I am leaning towards B or C but not sure which one, but please correct me if I am mistaken. A) 225/35-19 front, and 255/30-19 rear - +0.4% - OEM, blue on OP - but all season tire not available in this rear tire size B) 225/35-19 front, and 265/30-19 rear - (0.4%) - both sizes available in all season C) 235/35-19 front, and 265/30-19 rear - +0.8% D) 235/40-19 front, and 275/35-19 rear - not on the chart but this guy mentions it in his thread.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...13&postcount=5 E) 245/35-19 front, and 275/30-19 rear - +0.8% This is a picture (from the ECS site) of the actual rims and I like how the tire is a little stretched, I'm just not sure what tire size it is.. https://c1552172.ssl.cf0.rackcdn.com/469396_x800.jpg

so I got 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 based on this thread, but VMR is telling me that 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is the recommendation for the 710's i plan to get. i am thinking about swapping up to the 235.
General G-Max AS-03: 225 and 265 revs/mi - 815 and 821 235 and 265 revs/mi - 824 and 821 My concern is that with the 225, the front will be stretched more than the rear with the 265 and so the stretched-ness wont match front to back, thoughts anyone?

Hey guys I want to put OEM 18" M3 Wheels on my E91 xDrive with WINTER tires. Since the wheels are staggered I can't buy 4 tires with the same specs without the rear tires getting stretched on a wider rim.
E9X M3 219M Wheel Specs: 8.5 x 18 ET:29 9.5 x 18 ET:23 The only place that could give me a "matching height" set was Tirerack. Using the E92 LCI xDrive MSport 18" Specs they recommend this combination: Front: 225/40-18 Rear: 255/35-18 Anyone have any opinions on this? Attached are the specs.
