Any newly built 335i?

Does anyone here drive a 2009 with SW 32.x?
I would like to know how happy people are with them. I am in for a free update this week if I want to. But I hesitate to do it. I can hear the turbos spool up at ~1500 on my 335.

Yesterday I was at my dealer taking the chiefsales-persons (a very nice person he is)

335i out for a testdrive. . It is a 2007 earlybuild 335i Step.It had got the latest SW and he said it run better, faster than before. But he have had it for just some month. He didnīt know the SW-version it has

We together went out.I soon felt it was so quiet and felt soft. Felt like weaker acceleration, came on smoother. Which I donīt appreciate.
It was more quiet from engine and exhaust than my 2009. I didnīt like that car.

After that he testdrove my car. Found it louder. And felt stronger. More grunt.

They also lend me a 2008 E93 335i MT too with 12000 miles on it. It started to pull first at 2000 but pulled strong. This car had the newest SW too. It felt stronger than the 2007 car.

My SA is very helpful and will investigated what SW I have itīs E89X-08-09-520 meaning v31.1
I am scheduled to have their latest SW.
I think I will pass. Donīt want to be disapointed if it turns out bad with smoother/weaker acceleration.

Thank you guys!

Usually it is easier to ask for something and get it before one signs on the dotted line.

I have nothing to compare mine against other than my G35 but my 335i doesn't seem to pull hard until after 1500 RPM. If you start in 2nd gear, the engine rattles unless you have it revved up. My G35 could start in 3rd or even 4th gear (not that I do it) and not have the engine rattle.

Itīs good it pulls after 1500 like itīs supposed to.
The rattle could be coming from the wastegates opening/closing.Could be wg are open at low rpm. Doesnīt have to be bad if you feel your car will take off like a Boeing.
G35 donīt have turbo and canīt rattle.

These little BMWs can behave quite different depending on brake in, and 2009 comes with different software in the ECU. v31.1 and 32.1. Itīs the latest software with build dates from late 2008 till now Iīm curious about. Have any of you tried out the first 2007 335i?

It sounds like the latest SW affects the AT transmission?
