So now it's onto Port Jersey and the Northeast Auto Marine Terminal (NEAT). The BMW Port Jersey VPC is where my BMW will be processed. :rocks:

I'm confused - the cars actually dock in NYC, but are then trucked to the processing facility in Jersey City?

I checked with AIXLive.com also, and sure enough...it shows the Tacred docked at the Halifax autoport, and the Don Juan is nowhere to be seen...which means she's at least 20NM out of the port! Good show folks.

The ship will dock at one of the two berths at the Auto Marine Terminal in NJ - it is operated by the Port Authority of NY & NJ.

Some additional details about the terminal:

My SA said "Priority 1" cars usually make it to the dealer in a week (or sooner) after they hit land. This would make my delivery date 3/8, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll give them 'till the 10th before I get a one-way rental car and find the thing myself!

PS - what's a Whalen shift machine?

Finally had a chance to go through my Halifax webcam shots and I caught the DJ leaving port and the Tancred on the horizon making it's way to port. When I was deleting all of the pictures with nothing interesting in them, I accidentally deleted the best shots of the DJ - stoopid me. Stoopid, stoopid, stoopid. I debated even posting these but thought, meh, why not?

Hi all...got bored with the DJ not showing up anywhere, and I had some free time before I hit my list of errands, so I thought I would compile a quasi-complete roll call for the DJ, based on the posts contributed to this thread so far. If I've somehow made a mistake, just let me know, and I'll edit the list accordingly. The purpose for this list? A fraternity thing I suppose. You judge the merits where it concerns you.

I'm 99% sure I was on it, though the tracking site never had any info for my car.. judging from the dates of when my dealer said my car would be on land, I think I was on the DJ. I'm from NE

Thanks for the list.. The old DJs cargo sure is spreading far and wide once it hits the continent.. For sure we should all submit pictures once the wait is over, but it might be real hard to ever have a Don Juan get together.. Are some of you guys computer geeks by trade or just way better than myself on this machine.. ?? I am handicapped by living out in the countryside where DSL has not made it out here yet..
