Yeah you're right the BMW anthracite (feric grey) didn't sit well against the space grey..... it was/would of been too much grey to handle IMO haha.
lucky for me there is a good garage in Chichester for wheel refurbs and body work and they helped me pick by trying lots of there sample alloys next to the car.

you're not wrong about the sticker, I've tried to get them in the past and could only find them for the outside which to me didn't seam right.
Although I have just realised my wheels on my M3 are probably Anthracite against Space Grey...... Slightly darker but not much in it. I could post a Pic.... But Photo bucket!!!

Well I remembered to get a photo to show off the reason I got the a e91 and to show off all the mats and dog guards.

Its not noticeable but I do have a clear wrap on the edge of the bumper so it doesn't get scratched as well.

Is that an OEM dog guard? Thats pretty good with the total cover.

I think doggy enjoyed his walk, his lipsticks out! Mine does that when I take him on a shoot.

You know the one thing thats missing on these E91? A old fashion window latch for the rear side windows. The ones that you unclip in old school hatch backs. The wife has got it in her old Mini and the dog loves it. I Wonder if its do-able?

Yeah the clear wrap was already cut to shape. I originally called up BMW to see if they had a plastic trim for it like another member (I think it was Dest with his red e91) but after a few phone calls none of the stealers could find where I could get it, but they did come up with the wrap which actually is a better Idea because I doesn't spoil the look of the car.

He has a habit of hanging that out when he sees the camera.

TBH i'm not sure. I got it from ebay because I really didn't want to spend £120 for the travall one which I think is also the OEM BMW guard. I stole this one for £20 so an absolute barrgain.

I'm sure its possible with enough money of course, but I think you would need to remove the trim around the window to make it work.

Good dog. Mine did that at the bank the other day when one of the very pretty young ladies came out from behind the counter to pet him. I was so embarassed... Its a small dog but blimey I wonder how he carries such a thing

Last funny thing he did was to piss on my wife's foot when she was being chatted up by a bloke and then proceeded at really growling at him. Small or not a pissed-off English Cocker has big teeth. Wife though it was hilarious

Generally speaking yes, but he's not dominant. Young he kindda "forgot himself" before. The funny thing was doing it in front of this bloke like saying "F-off, thats my mistress and now I'll growl at you". It worked the guy too a lOOOOng step back. Cute or not, still has BIG sharp teeth. Wife was 1/2 annoyed at having a wet Repetto and 1/2 proud at the dog for doing his job. She's also refusing to understand that an English Cocker is pretty useless as a guard dog.

Nothing to report back at the moment, just gave the wagon a much needed wash. Im actually quite surprised at how well it's cleaned up considering I haven't had much time to give it a good detail yet.

I would say its a credit to its previous owner that it cleans up so well.

Seen boot mats when I looked with an extra fold out rubber flap to protect bumper when loading. I think they may have been textured to help creatures climb in.

Love the car Adam. Paintwork looks immaculate! The wheels looks fantastic. I'm tempted by the MP handbrake too now

It defiantly is! whatever wax you used on it seams to have lasted very well.

This one does have a flap if needed, but I'm quite lucky the dog jumps strait in and out without touching the car thankfully haha.

Thanks mate. I would fully recommend the handbrake it looks better and feels a bit more up market than the M sport one.

Haven't posted much recently as nothing changed.... until last month.

But now I have finally got around to sorting the full suspension refresh and I'm glad I did. The old shocks looked ok but really weren't their best.

Now I'm running on Bilstein b4S dampers and eibach springs with fresh bump stops and mounts, now it's feeling and looking much better.

Looking good. the drop looks more noticeable on the rear where the wheel is sitting into the arch.

Fresh suspension always a worthwhile investment. Always regret not putting fresh OEM suspension on my 10 year old E30 M3. But everybody goes for the other more visible/noise/power stuff first.

Did you every get to Germany? was it June or July your were going?

Thanks Kevin.

Yeah it has defiantly been worth while and I would definitely recommend it for any car getting up in the miles.

Yeah the rear looks really nice and how it should look im my opinion. The front is lower than Stannard but not super low thankfully, the eibach pros are a very good at keeping the car practical for daily use.

I did get to Germany yesterday funny enough haha. 12 hours ish door to door and the car performed brilliantly over the 682 miles. It even attracted some attention at a service station on the way for being quite a rare car.

Looking good.

The reverse rake isn’t for me though, but I bet it handles better!
