yeah just because the more you can keep intake air temp down the more timming you can add and what not. It will also future proof your mods for when you want more power. I would go PSP or VRSF 7" HD

Also, buy 1.5" gold tape and wrap the entire outlet in this before you install it.

Trust me on this one.

Follow the DIY on the MMP website to the T.

You will also need 1 SS zip tie.
Good advice, also check the vrsf video on their site showing the install, otherwise you will have problems getting the coolant tank back on.

I ended up wrapping my outlets in cooltec heat tape, overkill no doubt..

Awesome thanks for all the help, plan on going FBO with E85 then doing 1.75" aluminum inlets and silicon outlets from MMP and a custom tune probably from wedge. Going see what kind of numbers i can get

Tune/fmic then tint. I'm fairly sensitive to the sun but I can't stand to drive cars without tint. I have my full windshield done on my 4runner and it really makes it a nice place to be.

With a 7" FMIC, you will be doing some cutting. With a 5" FMIC, there will be a small amount (tiny) of cutting, in order to make it fit. Just an FYI.

You will need a dremmel.

If you are just DD the car and want some extra power, 5" is perfect. If you are intending on tracking the car 7" is the way to go.

Don't mind cutting, the car is a daily but will be going out to the drag strip and my local circuit track often

Spend the money now on the 7.5 race intercooler and never have a regret or need any other one. They're is absolutely no downside.

In one of your earlier posts you stated:

"With that being said will definitely start a repair fund"

That's my advice. Maybe spend some of it on mods, but honestly $1,600 isn't anything when it comes to maintaining this vehicle. That could get wiped out in a single repair lol. I spent more than that on injectors (just the parts) two weeks ago.

So save most of it for when you really need it.
