Dont know what I'm doing

I have a Monaco Blue 2007 328i w/o sport package. I have 16 inch tires/wheels and want to upgrade to 17s.

The reason why I want to upgrade is to get a set of rims that are lighter than my OEM ones, but they have to strong and look good of course. Can anyone recommend a set of rims for me?

I have never upgraded wheels on my car before so I dont really know what to look for other than what looks good.

well for starters people usually upgrade to 19s or 18s smallest.. If you want light and strong then go forged wheels , if you want something not to break your wallet and look good but not too strong then go replicas..

There are not too many sponsors on here offering 17" wheels so shopping on Tirerack.com may be the next best choice. Most on this board will for a 18 or 19" wheel as an upgrade. Once you put in your vehicles year, model, and trim level, you will be able to take a look at the fitments that are applicable for your vehicle.

I just posted this picture in a previous thread not a minute ago but i've got VMR VB3's 19/8.5 F and 19/10 R on my monaco. 19's seem to be the norm on our cars the only problem is tire prices are ridiculous.
