Well I tried to email dealership and its been going on 3 days and when I call for appt it goes to all of the SAs voice mails.

So hopefully they will get back to me soon, even tried the service manager with no luck...

Got my recall on Monday. Called the Dealer and they said they are slammed with these fixes right now. Couldn't get scheduled n until next Wednesday! And they said the 2hrs isn't accurate, that it's taking around 3 hours for the fix..... Then when I told them about the window wind noise/ water leak I needed fixed before my CPO runs out in May, I was told wind and water issues aren't covered! :>( Great, now I'll have to pay to have the gasket replaced or whatever it takes to fix the issue!

My car took two days but I had a new 328i loaner.

My wagon has a huge sunroof and the wind noise is quite noticeable when the inner panel is retracted. Unfortunately, I double checked and the CPO warranty clearly excludes wind/water leaks, so the sunroof gasket replacement and glass adjustment will cost $450 if I choose to have it done.

The only issue after the recall was a clock that was set an hour too fast. The interior was spotless and the hand wash was excellent.

Tom

It is kinda bad they expect their cars to start having problems after 50k.

Does anyone know if the 335d is excluded from this recall campaign?

Thx!

I got my letter, made an appt online and requested a loaner. When I went in, they didn't want to see my letter and loaned me a 328i for the day. Everything's perfect, though my Logic 7 settings are different...and sound better!

IIRC, back in the day of 2 to 3 year warranties, body seal problems were only covered for 6 months or so.

Got letter today. I asked about the recall when my car was in last month for a new battery and new (remanufactured) alternator, and they said there was no recall at that time (even though there had been a lot of publicity about this one already). Go figure.

Got my letter a few weeks ago, the car goes in Friday Morning for replacement.

I haven't had any issues electrical issues at all except with the radio occasionally will shut off if I hit a bump, wonder if they are connected?

I had mine done this past Friday. No problems. While doing the free courtesy safety inspection, tech notices the serpentine belt is shot and the belt tensioner is hanging on by a thread. Said he heard noisy belt. I didn't hear a thing. Tensioner covered under CPO, shockingly enough. Paid for belt and $50 CPO deductible. $114 out the door. Losing the belt at 80 M.P.H. would have been big fun. Car has 47k on it. Unreal.
