e92 CREE Angel eyes upgrade
After trying the other designs, these are really good
I've shown them just as DRL, with the headlamps too in daylight. Massive improvement over standard and better than others I've tried. The design is very good. Only negative is that because they're bigger than the norm, pretty tough to install. £37 LINK |

They look nice.
Shame that bmw has change their strategy on Fx cars. Built in LEDs and you cannot change the to after market ones (at the moment).

Temped by these. got a set of arc angles in at the mo. They are decent but want some to brighten the outer ring abit more evenly.
Are they a strait swap over ? |

They look the best I've seen. I will have to try them. Especially as they are about 10% of the price for liteangels/NEM Angels.
Won't be ordering them for a few weeks. But I will post some pics when I do. Great find! |

Here's a few hints I'll share when fitting them.
The usual way of fitting the 'normal' replacement H8 LEDs is to let the main body of the unit 'dangle' down into the cavity behind the lens, whilst supporting the plastic globe of the LED with your other hand. I suggest you connect the wire from the LEDs electrics box as this gives you something to hold onto as the bulb will fall to the bottom of the cavity. You'll have to get a finger on the plastic globe and tease it into the lens aperture. It's bigger than the usual LEDs, so this is where the tricky bit is. There's a black plastic bracket that holds the reflective tube for the halos directly behind the area you need for installation. Pain in the rear, but this can flex a little as you squeeze the front of the LED in. Once in, I used a large plastic trim tool to turn the LED clockwise once it's pushed flush with the lens aperture. Don't forget, from the front of the car, you'll be turning the LED to the LEFT. It only needs a quarter turn to lock. The 'indents' on the cooling housing help grip the tool for turning, as you'll never get a hand in to do it. Good luck |

Hello Pacman - looks bloody lovely! Want this for my '56 plate 2007 335i!
What year is your car, and if it's pre-lci (FRM1 specifically) what coding did you change to stop AE dimming when Headlights come on? |

My car is a June 2008. Using BMWhat app, if you go into the DRL settings (and there are many of them) look for the one that adjusts the brightness on main beam. I'd have to connect the app and write it down next time. Let me know if you can't find it
