Alarm Siren Batteries bad
I have been getting a 9D12 error when I due a scan of my 2006 325xi. This indicates that the batteries in my siren which is under the left rear wheel well are shot. The alarm was installed by the dealer in 2005 so I am not surprised.
If I remove the old batteries (I believe that they are alkaline CR123s) and replace them, will I need to have the dealer re-initialized the alarm or will it function correctly. Thanks Wallyf |
