Question 335d front tire rub, stock suspension.

I recently bought a clean 2011 335d with sport package. Love everything about the car however I've experienced pretty significant rub on the front right tire when taking left-hand turns at speed. For instance catching a yellow light while making a left it will rub substantially unless I'm careful.

The car has stock wheels/tire sizes and I am under the impression that it is not lowered and sits on stock sport springs/dampers. However I could be mistaken.

Anyone have any experience with this or has heard of this? I would like to pull the suspension apart and do Bilstein struts/shocks on stock sport springs with M3 arms and subframe bushings at some point after the holidays.

Here is a picture of how the car sits now. Maybe someone with a keen eye can tell if it is lowered as it sits. I would prefer the car to sit as high as possible for clearance and convenience while maintaining solid handling so it would be disappointing if I had to source OEM sport springs.

Tires might be stock size, but those rims aren't. Where is it actually rubbing? I know there is an oil cooler vent on the right side for 335i that can rub, not sure about d.

They are OEM 18x8F and 18x8.5R 195 style sport wheels are they not? Tire size is 225/40r18 front and 255/35r18 rear.

I havent had the wheel off but I have turned full lock and looked around, I cant see exactly where its rubbing.

Figuring out where it is rubbing would be the first step.

It's not your tires rubbing. It's your passenger side engine mount that's gone bad.

Even if you run the rears 8x8.5 with 255 tires. You will not get rubbing on stock suspension or slightly lowered.

Im pretty positive its tire rub. It is quite loud and sounds exactly like constant tire rub as long as the turn is held. I dont figure the motor mount could cause this sound even if it were bad. And the car has less than 50k miles so i cant imagine a motor mount being bad already.

Welcome to the ownership of 335d. 50k miles sounds about right for the engine mount, I suggest you do more reading on the passenger engine mount before completely doubting me. But I could be wrong too.
