LED rear turn signals with resistor throwing error

I drive a 07 e93, replaced the rear turn signals with LED
and resistor that I purchased from E92lighting.

Right side hyper flash and still throwing error, Can this be
fix after coding? Do I still need the resistor after coding?

I think its possible to delete it with coding and no you wont need the resistor after coding

After enabling the LCI Rear Retrofit with coding, my indictators flashed and normal pace for 2 times, then wud flag and error ( due to the bulb check ) and flash fast.

After a lot of trial and error, I found sticking a 10W 22Ohm Resistor in parallel to the LED fixed this, without coding out the check.

TBH i think this is the safest option, as by disableing the check, the incorrect voltage is still being sent to the LEDs, which could lead to problems down the line.

These are the resistors i used:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/10-watt-wirewound-resistor-2181 - very cheap and I'm sure you can find them elsewhere if you're not in the UK

Took about an hour to install

We've been trying for a while to find a rear LED blinker that works. Without coding it doesnt seem possible.

I don't need the resistor after coding? It will fix the error and hyper flash? I'm doing the coding tomorrow and try to find a new resistor.

Theoretically resistors are not needed when coding. I'm not a coding expert though.

I have no resistors, all LEDs for turn signals, brake lights etc. Coded out errors. No errors/no hyperflashing/no strobing on startup. I have an e90 06 build.

Hyperflashing

My hyperblinking/flashing & error on dash was fixed by coding out cold/warm checks, production date vehicle, Mar 2007 w FRM2.
