Dual Exhaust Conversion // Duke Dynamics // Cyba Black Chrome 4 *Updated w/ Vids*

Finally! My car is completed. All the mods I've dreamed of doing have come together. I can say that I am now officially "content" with the car but maybe not "done." The only things I might add down the road are M3 mirrors and an M-tech front.

The body shop hacked off the muffler in order to get the diffuser installed and I actually liked the sound a lot. It didn't drone and had great burbles whenever I coasted. So I elected to keep the muffler deleted and had a custom y pipe installed behind the resonator, then routed the dual exhaust from there. Evap canister was in the way of the passenger side exhaust so I had that relocated.

Unfortunately, the car now has a horrendous drone right between 2.5-3k RPM and I'm sure will be a nightmare anytime I'm on the highway. So I'm thinking of adding some muffler in place of the resonator maybe next week.

Weather has been terrible lately so I'll do a photoshoot sometime next week for a full feature of the new rear.

Enjoy!

Dreams do come true..

And a video of the idle after cold start

**UPDATE**

Added two more videos for those wanting to hear a 328 MD + Dual Conversion. Not sure there are any videos of this setup. I like the sound a heck of a lot. The drone I think could be related to all the different parts within the rear half of the car because it is a convertible, allowing more vibration than a typical coupe.

And Revs + acceleration

I know! I think I've wanted it for at least a year. Started ordering parts back in April. Getting rear ended put everything on hold 2 months.

Thanks, it definitely keeps the car looking fresh. The LCI tails help a lot with that too.

Thanks I hadn't thought of that I'll ask when I go in to install a muffler.

Thanks a lot! Here's a pic I took when the muffler shop was just getting started. I had a BMW indy shop move it from the right of the storage box, to behind the storage box. I love DIY's when it comes to cosmetic pieces but with the hoses and sensor involved I didn't want to touch it. This is the link that I had the shop look at for guidance.

Very nice Blindside. Noooo not drone. You can fit two more resonators right before your secondary cats (not sure how yours are laid out but could with mine). Keep us posted!
