He said 2 black guys did it .. with a gun... IF this was true Operation Trident would be all over it.

When there is a car accident u get a yellow board up... for an attempted rape and a shooting.... must be a yellow board up on the scene.

Thought it was a bit odd that a woman would then feel guilty and go get his car???

Just dont stack up in my book.

(caveat - if indeed it is all true - he deserves a medal!)

BTW... this whole thing reminds of the film 12 Angry Men... sort of...

Everyone congratulating him (in film everyon saying GUILTY), then Kerr says maybe he lied (NOT GUILTY) then slowly the story unravels... and he isnt the hero (found not guilty)

(awesome film for anyone whose not seen it - watch the black and white version)

This will be classified as a critical incident-firstly because of the seriousness of the initial attacks and then because of the negative press that the Met may be getting through remarks of lack of investigation-it's all about public trust and confidence!!!

Im guessing he werent shot then.... hospitals HAVE to report all gunshot wounds to the police .... had he been shot, the police would have been notified.
