Tie rods replacement

Both tie rods are seized and garage cannot do alignment adjustments. So I'm going to have a go at replacing the tie rods. Might aswell replace the whole tie rod, Euro car parts do them for £50 complete
Do I need a special tool to remove these? More so to release the inner one?
Anyone done it have a guide?
Thanks

Same thing happened to me when I went for alignment. They said BMW's are well known for it, so much so that they refuse to do wheel alignments on BMW's on Saturdays when they are only open for half the day!
I just took my car to another garage where they used a heat gun/tool of some sort to free the rods and then went back to the original place to finish the alignment.

Yup, one of mine is seized. Alignment is only very slightly out so not too bothered at the moment.

38mm spanner or wrench is the strangest thing you'll need. Just the usual after that
