I just noticed this bolt snapped off when I was reinstalling my water pump. Not sure how I didn’t notice it the first time but yeah it’s completely snapped off.

How about do I go getting this removed? What kind of extracted kit? Best method?

Also, does anyone know the part number for these sway bar bracket bolts/nuts.

They are nuts that thread into a pre mounted bolt it looks like. Am I even going to be able to replace that bolt?

I kind want replace all 4 of them when I was taking away bar off the bracket they did seem abnormally tight and I’m worried they’ve been way over torqued in the past if there’s a snapped one…

Just when I thought I had everything square on his car. I mean I don’t think it’s affecting driving right now I took it for a spin but who knows I’m worried the other 3 bolts are very stressed?

I'd cut the stud flush. Drill it out. Insert a Heilcoil and just use a bolt to secure the swaybar mount.

Take the bracket all way off? Cut flush? Than drill? I’ve never used a Neil oil before. Also, I got take another look but I think it’s tight between mount and subframe not sure I can squeeze a bolt in there

If I can fit a bolt I’ll just use a double threaded bolt with 2 lock nuts on each end but I don’t think that’s case. I got get under there and look again

Or cut a slot and try a flathead screwdriver. I am not sure if it came threadlocked from the factory. Might want to spray some penetrant and let soak first. And then +1 use a bolt instead.

Can you explain a little more what you mean with the flat head screw driver?

I don’t think I’ll have any issue punching this out with a punch. I just worried that I won’t have room to get a nut behind it to secure a bolt.

Yea I’m pretty sure it does.

Also, does anyone know the stud siize for the away bar bracket studs? M8 x?

Knock the stud out with a hammer and replace with rivnut 51718175003 and bolt 07147165618

What’s securing the blind rivet as usually there’s no room for a nut? I’m not sure how these work but yeah and it’s also not threaded on outside?

Than just use what a m8 metric hex bolt to tighten the rivnut in? Than install wirh the bolt part number you mentioned?

Also, do you recall what MM m8 bolt with washer size the strut brace bolts are? Is the m8x20mm correct size?
