Mirror won't tilt down when reversing

My passenger side mirror no longer tilts down when in reverse. It was always a helpful feature when parking so as to not curb my wheels. Not sure why it's not working now. Any thoughts?

Is the switch on the drivers door panel in the correct position? The pass mirror will only dip down if the switch is in one position and not the other, cant remember which way it needs to be switched off the top of my head

It has to be positioned to the driver side. switch it to the left side.

Mirror adjustment switch needs to be in Driver-side Mirror adjusting position (outboard position). If THAT doesn't correct the problem, then check to see if your Reversing Lights are ON when R is Selected with Ignition ON. If NOT, there is an issue with your Reversing Light Switch if you have MT, or a fuse or Gear Indicator Light issue if you have AT.

If still have questions, let us know about Gear Indicator/Instrument Cluster Gear Letter (P, R, N, etc.) function if you have AT and about Reversing Light Function with either. Here is the TIS "Reversing Lights" wiring diagram for 2011 335is:
