2011 335i xdrive - 17" square setup options

Hello,

Currently on stock, square 225/4x/17s. Would like to keep the square setup and 17", just go wider. Are 245s an option? Not interested in large diameter setups or staggered setups, latter for transfer case issues.

any pictures of advice appreciated.

Thanks, maybe I didn't phrase it right. I am asking if 245s will fit. Doesn't have to be on my wheel. Could be other 17" wheel or potentially 18', but ideally keep it 17".

all depends of your offset. Im running 265 and some running 275. On OEM 18''.

This is up front? I'm surprised you can go that wide. How's the steering/handling?

The critical thing to check is the strut clearance. For a 245 (20mm wider than stock), you need to ensure there's at least 10mm + margin before the tire would hit the strut body

no, rear, I have style 193. 245 front 265 rear. And I have 12mm spacer in front and 10mm rear. So technically I could go 255 in front, however, to keep same outside diameter, I would need to go 275 rear, and imo it's too big for a e90.

On h&r spring and no, I dont rub. Ive rolled the fender in the rear tho.

I had to read your questions again in case I completely missed what you were asking ... Nope.

Everything you've asked is answered in detail in that link. If you don't know how to use that information, that's on you I guess. You've even contradicted yourself several times...

But to come back and complain .... wow.

same , I read the question again, and according to OP sig (all those cars experience), the question makes no sense. At this point he should be aware that the tire width has nothing to do with wheel speed ratio.

Outer overall diameter does a difference on the transfer case, and even that, iirc those can take up to 4%.

My e91 xi stock wheels are staggered, so my new setup.
