I once went 2 weeks without my car and and to use my uncles beater, had to pump the brakes to slow down haha. Got back into my car and freaked out with how sensitive the brakes were lol

Funny that, when i bought my first 335 i remember noting how sensitive and grabby the breaks were. I recall reading about it in a few reviews too before i bought and they were right, now its totally normal of course but at the time i thought "yep those are really really grabby"

While you are waiting on the fab work for your car socks, i have an idea for a mod you might like.
Seen as though you are going for a Precision 6466, get a T51R mod done to your compressor housing. Make any larger framed turbo sound like the famed HKS T51R SPL as it spools up. Sounds like a jet engine. I sent my housing off to a company in Adelaide called Foaley Performance who sends them to a company in the states who performs the mod. Or you can send it yourself to a company called OCD Works in the states. Doesnt do anything for performance, just makes the turbo spool sound a million times better 😊 |

I know OCD deal in precision turbos too.
I did enquire about a brand new compressor housing with the mod done. That way you can wait for it to come in while you drive your car around 😉 For later down the track. |

Unfortunately it will be hard to do a swap because this build is a bottom mount. Nice and stealthy but replacing the turbo of nice it's on will be a massive job

ST build continued
Week 4 Well half way through the 8 weeks and not sure at all how much progress has been made. I'm guessing not a lot... DrJ is going to swing by the workshop this week and check out where things are up to and hopefully get some pictures.... Will post more details later this week |
